im done. i can't fucking believe what im seeing with my own eyes. i never thought the day would come when a president of the united states would essentially outright defend people who want to exterminate my family and i and every other minority/group. i don't know what the general consensus is to this because it seems like the world has been boiled down to one giant meme and you can't quite make your way through the fog to get a true sense of the general feeling of the nation/world anymore due to the negative aspects of social media and the plain fact that no one wants to talk politics in public in 2017 etc, but all memes/metaphors/hashtags/politics aside, the way i see it, this is truly terrifying folks, and this an absolute game changer in american politics and culture, and for the future of our county. yes theres always been racism, bigotry and ignorance in this country, but never before has it reached this level of outright openness and unabashed matter-of-factness. what we always regarded as niche and just a small minority has become a politicized movement of everything ugly our country stands against, and it keeps gaining traction largely in part of this trump base and the new alt right. and trust me when i say its not just the fringes of internet yt comments. the alt right is far more sinister b/c of its ability to fasten itself to mainstream right wing politics and culture, and its all united around trump (richard spensor is far more devious than he seems btw with his ability to have fostered a new millenial take on the far right, to make it hip and fresh which pairs nicely with MAGA and this whole new movement). im talking like there are even open tolerant peaceful people in my community/friends/family in denial and supporting the alt right b/c its trump-approved, (even including people who would be targeted by said group-- gays, blacks, even my some of fellow jews etc--ppl close to me. the right, regardless of race, background, etc has been hijacked by this movement and its gaining massive support. we are in deep shit.

Wow, that's crazy. Looks like he came through, or at least on the pre-order front. I was very hesitant to pull the trigger cuz who knows if this an authentic/Vektroid approved pressing. But I went with it, and figured even if not, it will be hard to have passed up on.

Yeah, I don't know why I thought of Amazon. I guess it's because they now do practically everything except insurance and medical care. Coming in the next decade, I guess. I love watching these really early 90s videos, how companies seemed to think they had the future all worked out. maybe you thought amazon coz jeff bezos is now the richest guy on planet earth? btw: i also love watching those early videos and learning about the history of technology. for example: blockbusters main idea was to deliver movies, video games and music digitally to any customer- but because they knew this was impossible at the time (and would kill their brick & mortar stores) they settled for digitizing all content then having it their kiosks because it would save space. sort of like early mail-in netflix mixed with redbox. no studio in hollywood wanted a part in it. so i'm wondering whether that's where netflix and redbox got those patents- because blockbuster bought them from another company- then eventually got bought by viacom who then scratched the whole idea of doing mail-in vhs movies this is fucking AWESOME, look at those shapes and colors i especially lubbed the music in the beginning part. Yeah, these sort of videos are incredible from a historical standpoint. When you look at how things in media and entertainment have changed in only twenty years or so. If I was a young consumer now, I'd be very wary of buying into any vision from Apple, Google, Facebook and all the others. They all impart that same sort of confidence and barely concealed arrogance - so sure that they have things all figured out Just like Blockbusters and so many others that are now just a part of history. Nebraska, yes music goes without saying! haha totally tubular And yeah, its funny seeing these predictions and all the confidence.. i would love to see a tech giant or corporation that admits it has no idea where things are gonna go, like some sort of absurdist take on futurism. Im sure we will all look back on Apple's cockiness and its attempt to humanize itself, and kinda gag in our mouths a lil bit. whereever we end up in the future, im sure we'll see things pretty differently from a tech/convenience standpoint. when these "things" are all obsolete, they'll lose all their sexy/charm factor, and we'll have the last laugh.

Then again, every time I listen to this record, I always notice different things and its like a new journey each time. Drukqs seriously never gets old, I don't know how he did. It's such a masterpiece. So much diverse material to explore, yet it has such a common thread through it and its like one thing.

edit: just got through all of 28 organ. wow. that was incredible. such a journey the track takes you on.. it was just getting crazy at the end too, i feel like it could be its own 30 min opus lol

not sure if anyone already mentioned this, but how bout dat T17 Phase out +3 yall? such fun ear candy. dont remember if rich has ever used the phasey ear tricks before, but this is well done. and yeah just listening to 28 organ now, beautiful.
