  1. Can't wait to scare the shit out of people when I play this in the car
  2. YAES I can listen to the first half hour of the stream before work. I'm getting oddly Meat Beat Manifesto vibes so far. But it's lush as fuck
  3. Ah, yes. Those are the exemplary J. Donervan visual edits we've been hungering for.
  4. turbile epic casual, stpl idle (last track on Session 2) makes me think of a sky colony in the upper atmosphere of Venus. It is theoretically plausible to establish a floating sky city just above the thick sulfuric acid clouds. But given that the Venusian surface temperature is roughly 462 C (about 864 F) and the atmospheric pressure is 92 times that of Earth's (basically like crush depth at nearly 1 km/ 0.62 mi deep in the ocean), we can rule out venturing any lower than that. That's all I'm gonna add regarding Session 2 for now.
  5. And am I right in thinking the FM synth emulation on that is real bad ? No gaming platform can surpass PC in the way of FM synthesis, especially with DOS games running Sound Blaster 16
  6. God damn. No wonder we have so many teachers going on strike. All because of administrative greed.
  7. Damn. Most of our snow in Anchorage is gone. I hope you guys get a heat wave soon so that shit can melt. Also, I'd soak in a nice hot bath if I were you.
  8. My brother and I were late to our dad's military retirement ceremony 14 years ago because that motherfucker just happened to arrange a visit to the same locale at the same day at the same time. We were literally denied access to base until his bloated ass left.
  9. I actually got more pce freeze 2.8i (Move of Ten) vibes from xflood
  10. I got both my seasonal tire changeover for my car as well as my annual filing for tax returns done in the last 2 hours.
  11. I still remember that stupid video Pai made right before the FCC vote last December, where he donned the Santa hat, spun the fidget spinner, and played the Harlem Shake (which was a meme from February 2013). Basically one big "fuck you" to the vast majority of us who wanted to retain Net Neutrality. My naive optimism still believes that this administration will get a huge bite in the ass from karma one day. Maybe it's just a gut feeling.
  12. Had a slice of toast, buttered with adzuki (red bean) paste and whipped cream on top. Actually learned it from my JASDF homies two years ago.
  13. You don't have to be a veteran of the series to enjoy 5. But I appreciate the degree of freedom it provides, especially compared to 3...though I have not played 4 or Primal. I could complain about the glitches, but TBH they are more entertainment than they are a nuisance. (I just realized I haven't done any gaming in nearly a week though)
  14. I've always hated Hannity. Wouldn't be surprised at this point if he gets a Cabinet position after Trump lets another one go within the next year.
  15. respectfully, they're not alike at all. one guy attempted an assassination for misguided nationalist gain and set off a powder keg that was being stockpiled for decades prior. the other guy was part of a mass uprising demanding a better life which found itself subverted/co-opted by other malicious parties and driven into sectarian/civil conflict. they don't have similar motivations at all. in fact, the only thing that's in common in both cases is that the cause of the conflict is often reduced to these individuals whereas it was driven by something way bigger and with a lot more moving parts. Well yeah, that's the point I was getting at. If it seemed like I was trying to draw a similarity between the two conflicts themselves, that wasn't my intention. Merely their catalysts.
  16. Yeah I heard he was previously an eye doctor before he became Syria's leader. Not to go off on too much of a tangent, but my understanding is that, if we go back to the origins of the Arab Spring in 2011, the catalyst was the revolution in Tunisia, literally ignited by the fruit vendor Mohamed Bouazizi, who responded to harassment from officials by protest via self-immolation, in December 2010. I dunno. Interesting how certain individuals throughout history can single-handedly cause major global conflicts. Not unlike Gavrilo Princip with the First World War.
  17. Not to mention driving a golf cart on the green and farting everywhere
