    I spent 10 days once in an all-male university dorm in Japan, but not by choice. It was some kind of measles quarantine bullshit. The one good thing that came of it is that I found out after the blood tests that I have a shit-load of antibodies. (I was immediately granted permission to go outside again as soon as I got the results lol)

    I used to fret about this kind of thing in my 20s. But now I've realized that subscribing to a dating site was one of the dumbest decisions I've made this year.

    I'm getting inspired now. Might take a "stay-cation" next month. Latest FWPS: I made a batch of about 23 chebureki for my coworkers for a luncheon. And they liked them so much that most of them were gone by the end. They turned out better this time around than the first time I made them in August.

    I'm proud of...um...well, honestly I can only really take pride in a specific region, not the entire country.

    Had a plumber come look at my water heater and attempt to fix it, but after three hours of labor he couldn't do a full fix. And the bill ended up being more than $400. Not his fault tho - turns out the water heater is 14 years old and apparently was never flushed, and according to the manufacturer is supposed to be flushed once a year. Plus whoever installed it apparently did an ass-backwards job, which was long before I moved into the condo unit. And at some point I'm supposed to buy a replacement. I hate massive unexpected expenses.

Just sayin'. Like Lane Visitor said, no need to be a snarky prick. I'm aware of the shit that's going on in Syria, CAR, and Myanmar. But that doesn't make the topic at hand any less tragic. You never know if someone on here happens to be among the bereaved.

    I check out rental equipment for outdoor use on a military base, making sure it's in operable, serviceable condition before the client rents it. Blue collar work, really. At least I can say I've applied my college degree to some extent when international joint exercises take place every summer, especially when the JASDF (Japanese) personnel visit. Probably a bigger deal to them than I realize. Especially with a cordless shaver. When you're losing hair like me, it's the exact same concept as a lawnmower, but for your scalp.

    I listened to them both, but I'm a shit reviewer. So it's best everyone listen for themselves and make their own assessment. But yeah. I liked it. About the kind of sound I'd expect from Ae. Hoping this is an appetizer for something coming in 2018. Seems like Ae bother very little with pre-release announcements anymore though. Hell, who knows if they're even still signed to Warp. I've always admired how unpredictable they are.
