  1. i havent had a burger for months, healthy eating, (occasional cheeky drunk double cheeseburger from macdo's excepting) but im off to bread meats bread tomorrow for a friend birthday dinner. unreasonably excited about that burger feels.
  2. No, that’s fucking success right there. Order take out all 9 days. ive worked between 30-50 hours every week since the 3rd of november. ive got 2 weeks paid holiday on the 20th of october and i am going to do fuck all but work on my new rachmaninoff preludes, make tunes, cook, and get drunk as shit. cant wait.
  3. i dont think its actually that big of a thing though. i mean maths is the most sold module and it has only sold a few thousand. the gear is expensive, but it doesnt seem like its some huge profit generating industry.
  4. u talking about that tracker or the thyme? no i was talking about the percussa eurorack computer, its about 1200. as if that wasnt enough it has an expander that costs another 600.
  5. i honestly dont see the point. you could buy a laptop, a cheap DAW and an expert sleepers interface for the price of that thing.
  6. i literally cant believe that there are people stupid enough to think that legal guns is a good idea.

honestly i think the funniest thing about him is his expressions. there are plenty of sketches where he says literally nothing and still has me giggling.
  8. that looks awesome. im starting to get to the unfortunate point where im never completely sure how brand new stuff will run on my aging system, a gtx770.
  9. shawlands, dennistoun, and finniestoun are all great areas to live in. bit more expensive than where i stay, but nice places.
  10. im up for divinity co-op. steam is ngpcock although steam keeps installing an update that completely breaks my traktor sound card. its starting to infuriate me. the only way to fix it is to use windows 10 to return to an earlier backup point.
  11. yeah its cheap as chips up here. im paying 240 a month for rent, bills, council tax and broadband this year.

no, there are loads of people who dont see the humour in his stye. he's a very divisive comedian.
  13. i tried skyrim again recently with all the mods and stuff, realised after 5 hours that its such a bad rpg. its just 200, scattered, completely seperate quests. absolutely nothing you do affects any other part of the game. its huge and completely shallow.
  14. i dry my clothes with a hairdryer usually. leaves them so much softer.
  15. i tip everywhere. taxis, fast food, restaurants. not shops though. while it doesnt suprise me that eugene doesnt, lots of people dont enjoy being an arsehole. interesting that cheffing doesnt cut the mustard when it comes to your standards of what an acceptable job is aswell.
  16. nope, service is the tits in our place. tonnes of waiting staff who are all pretty passionate about the wine, chefs who sometimes bring the food over and are happy to have a chat about it when its not too busy etc. celebrities just dont tip, from my minor experience with them. i dont expect everyone to automatically tip, btw, its just strange to me that a person with enough money in the bank for 25 people to live comfortable lifetimes, cant be bothered tapping a few extra numbers into a card machine when eating a nice meal.
  17. i mean, seriously. i work for minimum wage, if i go to eat food and spend £30, i tip £5. my net worth is less than 2000. we have had martin freeman, bill nye, and now star trek guy, each one worth at least multiple millions of net worth, and they cant even be arsed leaving a fucking fiver on the receipt plate.
  18. captain kirk from the star trek movies came into my work today. he didnt tip.
  19. joyrex really has a knack for picking questionable moderators. delet was an absolute riot.
  20. no idea how you are supposed to finish either of those games on the hardest setting with a controller. its like playing an FPS with a mouse after 5 beers and a line of ketamine.
  21. i appreciate you for appreciating premium pc gaming in this thread that's been overtaken by console trash. the first game's tactical/rpg gameplay was probably the best in genre, and i do remember putting many hours into it. but something about the story click and the general cutesy tone just didn't feel right, it began feeling like a drag after a while and i didn't feel compelled to finish it, it just didn't engage on that level like witcher 3 managed to do. i will try this new one though, hopefully they improved in this regard, because gameplay wise it was pretty much perfect. im only 4 hours in, but the story does seem a little darker. there isnt any voice acting on the early access either, so it has less of a specific tone to it. this time its not so much the undead as the threat but a fascist group of anti-sourcerors. using source appears to be a new combat mechanic which you a start off blocked from using due to a prisoner collar type thing, but im sure it will get taken off later on. also they've fixed the inventory system so its not a pain in the arse to figure out which characters are best suited to a certain item. that got a little bit tedious having to flick between each character on the first one.
  22. just started divinity original sin 2, which comes out of early access tommorow. so far seems as fun and challenging as the first one. having realised how fun turn based strategy can be, the XCOM's are definitely next on my list.
