  1. yeah, the ending of bioshock infinite was incredible. are they making more bioshocks, any news on that? must have been over 5 years since infinite now.
  2. do barbell squats, deadlifts, bench press, shoulder press, barbell row, compound exercises that make your whole body work. also the plank, normal and side. you can literally feel your entire core working out every squat you do with heavy weight. im up to 50kg after 3 months and its a life-changing level of overall strength increase. i just do 5 reps, 5 sets.
  3. obviously just avoiding product placement. ive not noticed any in legion. im incredibly oblivious to product placement at the best of times though.
  4. why are you coming here? vacations? future job? drop me a line when you arrive. just a really nice long, healthy vacation. gonna practice the piano, cycle for hours a day, just soak up another country and sober up for a while. got some friends already living out there aswell. im not completely sure where i am actually moving to yet, but i was planning on just paying 6 months rent in advance for a flat and then taking it from there.
  5. dont even bother looking at your weight, just keep working out and take photos of your body so you can see the difference. you can gain a kilo and a half drinking loads of water, not taking a dump, and eating a big meal with absolutely no change in body mass. ive only gone from 91kg to 88 in 2 months of regular weight training, but i look so different.
  6. i used to love the young ones so much when i was 14 odd. its one of those programs where i remember vividly how exciting and unique seeing the advert made me feel. i watched it again a couple of years ago and its absolutely ridiculous. rip big rik.
  7. im done. im moving to portugal in 2019, i need to save up 750 a month until then as a goal so that i can live in portugal without a job for 6-9 months comfortably. i asked my local synth dealer to politely ban me until at least 2019. ive got 2 modern elektrons, 1800 worth of analogue rack compressors + preamps, a £9000 modular, £1500 of eventide effect pedals, a £1600 yamaha digital piano, and a super nice set of genelecs. there is absolutely no equipment i still need to make any variation of electronic music already in existence. i need to quit my synth addiction like i have quit cigarettes, and am working on alcohol aswell. getting self banned from rubadub helps, but ive also left every synth group on facebook.
  8. you could just fire through the main quest in about 30-35 hours if you ignored sidequests. you wont want to though. great game to finish sidequests in.

    Limmy

why wouldnt you commission a show where he is just doing it himself in his flat? surely the only costs would pretty much be paying limmy and lending him a £10,000 (or however much nice cameras cost) camera. win-win
  10. im 3 months completely smoke free, and this time its been an absolute breeze. not sure what shifted mentally, but i havent even been getting little craving twangs when seeing my mates smoking while drunk.
  11. liking the digitone so much that im now gassing over a digitakt to go with it.
  12. yves de mey - bleak comfort is kind of autechrish.
  13. with praise from not only zaphod but eugene aswell, il have to stick the americans next on my watchlist. ive been re-watching archer on my fortnightly hangover day. pretty funny, cheesy, good, and shite all at the same time.
  14. one quick thing though, im working my way through the manual, how do you program in polyphony on one channel on the digitone sequencer? so it has 8 voice polyphony channel per channel? how do you program in a chromatic 8 note chord on one trigstep of the sequencer? ive barely touched elektron machines, just getting used to the workflow.
  15. i wouldnt take my tune as an example of a digitone demo, i dont see any point in limiting myself when i make music, that track is my usual ableton sequenced, sample laden, modular twisted workflow with me adding the digitone presets into the modular mangles. ive got two days off just now and im looking forward to getting stuck into it though. i bought it on the strength of modeys videos and the idea of FM synthesis as a simple and easily accessible way to get nice pads and melody based ideas to contrast the wacky uncontrollable happy accident method of my modular. so far its been impressing me.
  16. thanks. made it by throwing a bunch of kick drums and digitone presets through the rhythm tumbler that is the Makenoise Echophon.
  17. i got very bored of basic locked groove stuff, but this one kills me.
  18. i re-use my own samples and chord sequences all the time. i like the sense of continuity it creates.
  19. so i picked up a Digitone, pretty cool bit of kit, been having a jam on it this evening. https://soundcloud.com/scarboglasgow/bensedin211 one quick thing someone might be able to help me with though, how can i set up the 4 tracks so i can input midi from ableton to change the notes, use the tracks inbuilt sequencer for parameter change, but also have it clocked to the same ableton master tempo without having to just manually change the Digitones tempo and then press play at the right time? at the moment, if i use a midi input from ableton while clock recieve is turned on, it gets the wrong tempo, and restarts the sequences every time a note comes out of ableton
