    why not grab a wee hifi setup? i always think they sound much nicer than monitors. monitors arent really meant to sound ''nice'' but accurate and revealing. the auto-eq enhancements on cheapish hifi's usually make stuff sound much nicer to me. wharfdale bookshelfs and a second hand camridge audio amp could be picked up for 250 im sure.

    better call saul is one of the few pieces of TV that i enjoy a lot more watching one episode a week than binge watching. the cliffhangers are so mild that you dont really crave another.

    ? ive not got the patience to wander round an area for 45 minutes because ive missed the obscurely titled book that tells you which order to press 5 buttons in. im a casual gamer these days, if im stuck at a dead end for 10 minutes i cheat.

    divinity: original sin enhanced edition is excellent. couple of times ive had to find my way by looking at a guide online because it really lets you figure stuff out yourself, no quest markers or anything, and you have to listen to everything every minor npc says if you want to figure some of the quests out, but the turn based combat is seriously addictive once you've figured it out. think im approaching the end at about 45 hours.

    octopus, chickpeas, courvoisier marinated peach, finely sliced burrata, heritage tomato and parmesan pizza, made on an ultra thin spread focaccia base. was made yesterday in work as a staff meal to use up octopus and peaches that only had 12 hours left on their sellability. absolutely wild.

    ive been trying to go through and finish some of my steam games i never played, starting with divinity:original sin. ive never really liked turn based computer game combat, but im having some fun with it. the story is quite good aswell.

    i have been seriously struggling to find an mp3 player since my ipod that my mum and dad gave me for christmas two years ago broke. currently settled on a 20 bush one, it has the volume, but you have to click through every tune individually. why on earth you would even design an mp3 player with 16gb of space and no way to scroll by folder i have no idea. also, when it shuts down it says ''goodbey'' sony mp3 players are completely useless without very loud headphones or a headphone amp. again, i have no idea why they even make them. i use cheap, 40 quid sennheisers when im out the house, and you can barely hear classical music on a sony mp3

    yeah, definitely the best game ive played as an adult. such a memorable atmosphere to the world. its only real flaw was the levelling system, it didnt really make you feel any more powerful, and you couldnt really go back to tonnes of sidequests after getting 8 levels higher than them. i mean you could, but you just got no xp.

    my gas has gone. im ultra productive, what i instead spent some money on is getting my entire studio/modular tidy and patched properly so that all i have to do is change settings in ableton to record different gear. also my modular has really clicked for me. there is one last thing i want, which is to finish my trio of eventide pedals with the time factor, then im pretty much done. i have my studio set up to make the exact sounds i want to make.

    I still have one achievement left, a 5 win streak with a different character each time. I keep on forgetting which characters I've already done.

    i lived in orlando for a year. crotch rot swamp ass is a common thing in summer. can get dehydrated just from swamp ass. i used to work on south beach at a museum and lunch break was traumatic if i had to go outside. one day i saw billy corgan walking down the street all in black w/long sleeves and black pants and black boots talking to someone and it made me feel like a freak because here i am a native floridian and coping w/the heat was ever more difficult each year and this guy is walking down the sidewalk looking like an upscale beat poet with hardly a glisten of perspiration on him. he must be an alien lizard. this truly sounds like my idea of hell. even glasgow at its hottest can irritate me heatwise if it stays hot for more than a week.

    ive got a tough 8 weeks ahead of me waiting for game of thrones to air all episodes so i can sit and get hammered on caffienated tonic wine and marathon the whole series in one sitting as the gods intended. no spoilers in this thread if poss.

    im trying to keep to a pretty strict schedule of one night out drinking a week, on sunday nights. the 3 days i work i have 2 beers after work and thats it. 4 days off completely sober. its working pretty well.

    this is what the squid ink risotto looked like, so you can probably imagine that it looked like an absolute state. tasted amazing though.

    i made a mild travesty of a pizza a few months back, leftover octopus, squid ink + squid risotto from work plopped on a dr.oetkers ristorante frozen pizza at 3am. extra cheddar. it was deece.

    ive been cutting down on my booze bigtime. also pills. probably anyone who has been posting on this forum the same decade that i have noticed i went from 5 years of tonnes of weed, to 5 years of tonnes of ecstasy. both were great at the time, but im nearly 30 now, and thoroughly enjoying a low carb diet with plenty of high quality meat and veg, 4 hours of exersize a week, and mostly sober sexy times. my path to adulthood has been almost cliched. apart from a bout of anxiety for a few months that exercize has gotten under control, i seem to have gotten away with taking about a thousand pills and drinking full bottles of tequila mixed with buckfast at scottish booze opening times for the best part of a decade relatively unscathed.

    in scotland you can get what is known as a roll and scone, which is a fried potato scone in a buttered bread roll. sauce optional.
