yeah it's underrated! it's easy to miss under all that 2017 material + bonuses etc but it works great as a standalone album. i get the impression it was quite easy to make, but there isn't much else like it and i'd love to find out if rdj is interested in taking that style further. it's the audio equivalent of big, perfect cinema with breathtaking visuals and a simple story. just little ideas made to be sumptuous and delightful ??? -

if i thought the performance was good, or if i take them seriously enough to refer to their "identity", then i couldn't possibly have seen the performance because it was a lulzy metrosexual flag waving festival because that's what eurovision is. this, is why we care more about the crack snorting. (tbh i don't care that much either way, it just that there were 26 hugely expensive/re-re-re-rehearsed performances going down last saturday and the internet is treating it as hot gas or smth)

mental health plummeting today, HOWEVER i've had lots of fun in the "liminal spaces/images that evoke" area of youtube. just mute the video and set up your own soundtrack - right now i have gescom minidisc on shuffle playing over "Sinoms" by Michael Snow - you can do this by having even more tabs open on youtube, or by having several media players at once. (Gescom - Minidisc on Youtube) (btw you have to skip about 15mins of Sinoms to where it gets good)
