    i don't think he cares. he flubs and blubbers all kinds of bullshit and knows it doesn't really matter. he is surrounded by sycophants and his base doesn't know any better anyways and they just believe whatever he says and wait for their next opportunity to troll the libs or be angry and play the victim yada yada yada.. trump is a douche but no one has ever told him that or not frequently enough. shit falls in his lap. he C- studented his way all the way to the presidency.. why should he fact a speech or make someone else do it? he doesn't care. he's gonna feel good about offering praise to the military and gloss over history to make people feel good. even though there was some poll/study whatever that concluded the "proud to be an american" index is at an all time low. so.. he confuse the revolutionary war w/the war of 1812 all day long and it really won't make a difference.

    that guy lost his cool. cop probably would've just given him tickets and sent him on his way. that shit escalated quickly. seemed pretty typical traffic stop for typical bullshit. the window tint thing is common in florida. lot's of people get stopped for that.. at least they did when i lived there. that was pretty crazy though. the guy just took off and i thought that cop would get run over but he sorta tumbled away. looked like probably got banged up.. you can tell the SUV goes outa control when it goes around the corner and hits the median or something. crazy. what a shitty day for everyone involved.

    last night we had a show at work. daniel menche, Xambuca, Die Angel. everybody was super nice. It was good. loud. i did sound. everybody happy. the sets were dope. we were at capacity for the store. a good night that came together well. the 2nd half of die angel's set went to this really heady groove kinda tribal kinda techno. totally infectious. was a gift to my brain. first half of their set was good too. nice build up to some heavy tones and thick processing and razor like leads and riffs. now i have 2 days off.

    re: nothing before the big bang.. sure.. it was apparently super dense everything then jesus farted and boom! existence happened and that everything filled a "void" no? i don't know. i'm sure there's a step by step of this that's sort of the official "i'm something of a scientist" version but exactly when did human consciousness develop for us to even be aware of our own existence and eventual death? if by "void" we mean before there were complex living organisms with consciousness then pre-big bang is probably good enough ay? unless there's some super dense super heavy infinitely hard dicked beings in the middle of all that super dense mass of everything turning to its partner and saying "hey what do you want to get for dinner tonight?" then i'd wager that everything is probably just like building blocks yo, w/o even a society to live in.

    i'm hoping the ideas of bernie and warren etc are crystalized and become the democratic platform. i'm not throwing bernie under the bus.. i just want someone to beat trump and of course i'd like a true progressive and seasoned, effective politician who knows the system etc. bernie has been a guy w/the same message for pretty much is whole career. he's an outsider who's message resonated and put him in the eye of the mainstream. these are all good things. i think sanders/warren or warren/harris or sanders/booker or whatever combination of 2 people who balance each other out will be effective in the general election. i just don't want anyone to under estimate trump. i'm not sure bernie could've beaten trump in 2016 but it's not something i think about too much. i like kamala harris but i think she's more centrist than she let's on.. that's probably true of some of the others as well. we need someone shrewd and savy especially in the general election. obama picking biden as a running mate was a very shrewd decision in 2008. regarding registering w/a party.. i registered as independent like 20 years ago.

    i'm not sure bernie has the best shot.. only if a bunch of young people come out to vote.. even then.. not sure. also, biden still polling above the rest. i think most democrats are actually older centrist types. until young people actually become the powerful voting block they can be it's gonna be centrist dems winning out. but it really is a bit hard to say. warren is gaining steam with all kinds of voters. remember.. clinton got 3 million more votes than trump but lost those few key places and that was that. it's going to be a tight election any way ya cut it. but we've got plenty of time for all kinds of bullshit to happen.
