Dunno I liked them right away, better known tracks like Eutow, Slip and Bike are really accessible to people who already like electronic music then you end up going down the rabbit hole regardless.

Seems like all of the projects artists worked on and released during/after the initial 2020 lockdown had them burnt out for this year

Joy Orbison - Still Slipping Vol. 1
milkface replied to Rubin Farr's topic in New & Upcoming Releases
Very good album, was fun seeing the posters for it all over London last summer. On an unrelated note, Joy Orbison interviewed 10Foot for a Popeye magazine article a few months ago if anyone's interested (scroll down for the original article in English). https://popeyemagazine.jp/post-48907/- 16 replies

How does the World view America these days?
milkface replied to Rubin Farr's topic in General Banter
Yeah that's great but as I said there's always gonna be someone who wants to be in power so it needs to be us instead of them. Besides how do you expect to feed, house, vaccinate and care for millions/ billions in your country without centralisation? You need organisation. I guarantee you deaths and suffering under anarchism would be insanely high due to pure disorganisation and inadequacy. -

the state is used as a tool for one class to oppress another. whilst hierarchical structures require power which corrupts, creating a power vacuum that reactionaries will happily fill is not a good thing either. you need to safeguard progress -
Inversely, temple sleeper has to be my least fav track of his

Oli XL is back with his first single release on Warp which came out today!!! The two tracks have a similar sound to his previous album but still evolved and sounds much cleaner https://x-l.love/

maybe its just how my mind works but i find that the tracks i never tire of are ones that have some kind of special connection to something, i guess the replayablity comes from the emotion it makes me feel. there have been many amazing songs i've loved over the years but i very quickly get tired of them, the ones that have stood the test of time and still remain in my playlists so many years later are ones that make me feel nostalgia, loss, or remind me of a certain moment in time

If you can be arsed, list tracks that you never tire of. They may not be your favourite tracks but they're tracks that remind you of someone, somewhere or something and give you an overload of emotion, whether good or bad. Here are mine in no particular order: Aphex Twin - Xtal Part Time - I Wanna Take You Out Yves Tumor - The Feeling When You Walk Away Talk Talk - New Grass Bark Psychosis - Absent Friend Chromatics - Cherry Ariel Pink - Another Weekend Sun Araw - Deep Cover Slowdive - Blue Skied An' Clear μ-Ziq - XT Saint Pepsi - Private Caller Neon Indian - Era Extrana There are many others but these stand out the most to me.

just here to leave some parenti The Darker Myths of Empire (16th November 2005) https://youtu.be/OOF56wYTl1w US interventionism, the 3rd world, and the USSR (15th April 1986) Super Patriotism vs. Real Patriotism (1988) -
well yeah there's no doubt radlibs chat shit with crazy identity politics instead of actually helping people who are starving or in war torn countries, that's the difference between anarchism/ "libertarian" socialism (which are all ideas and no action), and actual ideologies like marxism leninism which seek to help the working class. goes without saying though that sure it's a shame that working class people in bad situations turn to the far right, literally reading a book or two would gain you the most basic critical thinking skills to show you that you're a turkey voting for christmas so my pity only goes so far especially in the USA where the literacy rate is very high and these books i speak of are literally free in pdf form on google by searching the title
