  1. They not only "probably never intended" it, they actually discourage you from doing it because it puts too much stress on the bricks -- hence it's illegal. Ironically though, it looks like they recently used an illegal building technique on 71043 Hogwarts themselves. Jang did a video on it: I've bought that set a couple of months ago, but haven't built it yet. Come winter, I'll have a lot of building(s) to catch up on ...
  2. Aaaaahhh, it hurts! IT HUUUURTS!!!
  3. Yeah, I did it too late, and mine is certainly affected. The normal Analord sleeves should be fine though, it's just those thicker PVC ones, I think, especially in conjunction with sunlight. Dunno why some record still come in the pesky things. Edit: Okay, maybe it's the RTI ones as well, according to the link above. Huh.
  4. Yeah, I'm just lookin' for the/a binder. They do look kind of crappy in the ol' Expedit all by themselves. Is your picture 10 still lookin" alright? Mine has yellowed a fair bit in one place, and it bugs me more than it probably should.
  5. Lego has greenlighted Pirate Bay, Sesame Street and Playable piano for Ideas. Announcement Here' a video of the piano. Pretty IDM, I'd say. https://youtu.be/0zcZ9toUjyU
  6. Where can I order? I just completed my collection. and now I feel I need something just like this. Unfortunately, I'm not exactly what you'd call a crafty person, nor do I know anyone who is. You lookin" to sell? ?
  7. Not to be confused with, ahem, The English Cunt ... [insert name of notorious politician, pop star or WATMMER].
  8. AFX -- Analord 11 (Rephlex) Finally! Now my work here on Earth is done. Edit: Well theoretically, there's still that binder, I guess ...
  9. I believe it's "The English Court", which sounds just a bit more majestic. ?
  10. If you're in Europe, there's a Spanish store called El Corte Inglés that has 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon, the biggest Lego set of all time, for €595,30 (30 % discount) incl. shipping. Deal Still a lot of dough for 13 kilos of plastic, but I doubt it's gonna get much cheaper, so get it while the gettin's good. Edit: Aaand it's gone!
  11. I guess time will tell if he's a Gelfling or a Skeksis. ?

  13. Her right arm is so far up his rectum she can make him speak by moving her hand.
  14. Some random stranger on the internet recommended this, so I felt obliged to check it out. Tried to listen to the song "Fear Inoculum", but quickly stopped because to my surprise, I had suddenly grown a mullet. Made me think of a girl I used to know in high school who was a massive Tool fan. She was called Christiane, but everyone just called her Chris; until, that is, she decided that from this day forth her name was to be Tiane. That must have been around the time Lateralus came out. A bit after that, she had the word MEDEA tattooed in massive letters right across her belly. I wonder what happened to her. I bet she's somewhere out there listening to that new album by her favorite band, Tool.
  15. Not really; he's said that he'll only ever do ten movies in the past, but since he's not counting FOUR ROOMS (nor SIN CITY) at all and apparently considers KILL BILL 1 & 2 one movie, that would put him at nine atm. Plus it's unsure how serious that claim was to begin with, and if he'll really honour it (which seems doubtful IMO). So I definitely don't think that this is the last we've heard from ol' Quentin ...
  16. ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD. 8/10. Ace movie, has a certain unforcedness , an ease that could point to Quentin's having entered his "old master" phase, which I don't mind. Was impartial to DEATH PROOF, didn't much care for INGLORIOUS BASTERDS, didn't like DJANGO, but really loved THE HATEFUL EIGHT and had a veritable blast in this one. Things are lookin' up for Quentin IMO, I like where he's going.
  17. I don't know, I never got that far.

  19. Cool! If you like those, make sure to listen to Emperor Tomato Ketchup and Dots & Loops as well. Peak Stereolab IMO (along with Refried Ectoplasm). Dots & Loops is co-produced by Mouse on Mars and probably their most "electronic" album, FWIW. Yeah, I've waited months for these! Finally! Will Check City Pop out, thanks.
