I dont know what to make of it. On the one hand this is arguably the best new era Clark work. It's very well produced and I guess his vocals sound good for a newby. On the other hand, it's just not my thing. I have defended his works ever since most people started turning sour on him but I don't know. I really dislike Thom Yorke too so yeah. It could be a grower, well see.

I like the new EP but I do think Woke Up Right Handed is better in its execution. Been big into his Peaches EP too lately.

New stuff is great but I'm more of a fan of his older works. He got quite a bit of recognition back in the day. My favorite tracks would be: getting me down, medulla rheese, why they hide they bodies under my garage, potchla vee and both tracks of the hessle audio EP. It's more Garage-y stuff compared to the techno leaning EP's/ album he puts out now.

Making an Ed Sheeran track actually listenable

This album sounds more lively than the other new school black dog projects. I like it. I wholeheartedly agree with everyone here when it comes to their old albums being better. The run they had from Bytes to Silenced was amazing with Spanners being one of my favorite albums of all time.

They are different enough from burial imo. Everyone who's ever used vocals in a dubstep/ UKG track owes Burial. Anyway, great album, love the pop appeal. Hopefully they'll keep getting more popular so that this type of electronic music gets more widespread. It doesn't sound cheap at all and I feel like they put great care into this project. Aoty contender for me personally.

Great album, really tranquil listen. I like that he hasn't sold out yet and is willing to put out something as not-commercial as an ambient album. Respect. Actual Life 3 is probably my favorite album of his yet, but he hasn't missed so far imo.

I love the dynamic between Skrillex FT and Fred. Four tet is such a boomer compared to the rest and the younger people don't know what a legend he is, he seems to not care. So what do you guys think of Fred Again..? He hasn't gained a lot of traction on this forum yet, but he's been gaining massive popularity these past months/ years. I personally really enjoy his stuff so I thought why not make a thread on him, although I do think a lot of you guys are going to find him mainstream crap. I also usually am not a fan of the mainstream producers but what sets this guy apart is that imo he creates a really nice emotional experience throughout his albums documenting life during the pandemic. And the Four tet/ Skrillex collabs are amazing of course. Actress is one of the best there is. Consistent favorite of mine. I think AZD is my favorite album of his but they are all amazing.
