  1. My email is all fucked up, and this has happened before. I thought I fixed it, but.....
  2. I kinda hate this shit, but it helps with my digestion big time. Also for some reason as the day goes on I like it more. I drink one every day and it has made my Prilosec obsolete, so I’ve been weening off of it. Down to one Prilosec every 4 days. Kinda like a mango lassi
  3. I like all the Terry Miles Pacific Northwest podcasts. Tanis, Rabbits, Black Tapes, The Last Movie, and whatever else they do. Also recommend: Shit Town, Leap Year Society, Wolf 359 (everyone on this forum should listen to that one!), Marvels, Wolverine, Sandman, and there are others. My wife controls the podcasting we do, so I’ll have to ask her, I’m sure I’m forgetting all kinds. She’s obsessed with true crime. Those true crime garage guys live by us, and are pretty cool, and she really like my favorite murderer. Neil Gaiman’s Sandman is a must, even tho it’s not exactly a podcast, more of an audio retelling of the comics. I’ve read them and it is pretty dead on. Also the fact that Gaiman himself is narrating is just amazing. You are getting page descriptions and almost interpreted responses from the creator/writer himself. Hopefully the blind are now able to enjoy an art form they couldn’t before, as well. Just an awesome audio work in general for any fan of edgy shit.
  4. I know, I just thought “eurorack exclusive”. I was overwhelmed by my studio pics in that thread because so much of my house is dedicated to art, I’d need to basically show you what a real estate listing would look like for my house, haha. Plus, in my studio pics the eurorack was overshadowed by transformers and keyboards, I think! Also we could use this space to discuss anything exclusively eurorack, rather than having to put it into the GAS thread or DIY. Idk, it could be fun, and I felt like @Danny O Flannagin maybe was going for this? Muffwiggler (or mod now I guess) is cool, for sure, but forums like that are strictly informative for me. It’s like going into a synth shop vs a bar/hangout spot, if you know what I mean.
  5. Good to hear. You have a much needed positive attitude in general, my man
  6. We should all post pics of our eurorack rig here too! Unless you guys don’t want to, I personally love that thread on muffwiggler. Here’s my current eurorack system. Didn’t include the semi stuff, or pedals I use with the patchulator. I only have room for a few pulp logic format tiles (or one big one). Then I’ll have to start building a new rack and destroying my studio to make room......again. Yeah, the disting would be so awesome if there was an “encore knobby” type of thing for it. He seems to make stuff like that for his other things.
  7. The disting does some awesome delay. Also look into some of the spring reverb things like what pulp logic makes. Personally, reverb is one area I don’t incorporate into my eurorack, but the spring ones are tempting.
  8. I have the maths, disting mk4, kinks, and uzeus x2 (as far as what you have listed) and I can tell you they are all awesome. I’d recommend getting another quantizer and a buffered mult (forget if the 2hp you have there is buffered). The disting is awesome, but I used it as a quantizer so much, I didn’t get the chance to use the other features that much (really like the delay and the delayed lfo). Now that I got another quantizer I’m really happy. I really want one of those strymons, they make awesome shit (have the big sky and love it). I would also recommend a mixer of some type.
  9. Finished Resident Alien, and thought it was really good. Well balanced the whole time.
  10. All good stuff, for sure. Off topic slightly- Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Sylvian collaborations are awesome.
  11. Pretty excited, even tho the finale was probably my least favorite finale of all time, I loved the first two seasons. It’s kinda how I feel about x-files- I’m just glad when there’s new stuff from these worlds. The guy that played “Anton Briggs” from the 3rd season was at a Wizard World comicon I went to a couple years ago (for being “Diggle” from Arrow). Anyways, I really wanted to tell him how much I thought the scene where he was recalling being “skinned” was an awesome performance. In the scene he says he heard his own voice screaming, like it was someone else’s, I thought it was really good acting. But there was this guy with a megaphone close by protesting gay marriage stuff and holding up Bible signs and all that. My son was terrified and wouldn’t go anywhere near, so I just walked by him and gave him a nod and eyed towards the protester. He looked at me with understanding and nodded like “yeah I know, that guys screwing up my shit”. I felt bad, nobody was going over by him because of it.
  12. The end of “unused to” is awesome, nice work!
  13. The Cult is pretty awesome, the SNL performance they did back in the 80s was really good. I think it was “She Sells Sanctuary” which always reminded me of a mix between Danzig and Neu, or something haha
  14. Honestly, I kinda like this bird animation more than the actual video
  15. The splatter vinyl looks fucking sweet. I’m watching the numbers drop now. When I started viewing on bandcamp it was at 13, now it’s 11. I might pull the trigger.......
  16. Also you get a premium filter for all internet garbage- meaning that if there is anything really, really funny, or cool posted on fb, a close friend will probably share it with you. So you don’t need to sort thru it all, haha, as long as you have a few friends or relatives who are on social media. Let them sort out and refine it.
  17. Does anyone remember these guys: Also, this should be on this thread:
  18. Yeah, this totally makes sense. I have almost been forced to use it for certain projects before.
  19. here is another good one from the video we are working on now
  20. Same here. The most social media I ever used was MySpace, just to promote music. Forums are as far as I’ll go for online socializing.
  21. I’ll always love the fact that while most industrial bands spend so much time on image and being cool, skinny puppy was spending time like this.
  22. How did you get this scanned in so good? Stills from a video my bandmate and I are working on.
