  1. yeah the game is quite generous with tears, you never have to farm for them if you just take on what comes along. ng+ even more so since every collectable you've taken over from first playthrough is replaced by them. but be careful not to eff up in true guilt mode... once i lost ~90k that way lel. there can be only one guilt ghost in that mode, if you generate a new one by dying before reaching the first that one vanishes and with it all the dough you had up to that point. also the immaculate bead seems to prevent redeemable guilt entirely, not sure if intentional / bugged. the dlc bosses are awesome! enjoy. ?
  2. actually you can just kill off his precious bitch and screw the marks of refuge, he'll end up in a cell in the dungeon ("wall of the holy prohibitions") instead. you can give him the cord and get the prayer all the same. you'll need that key for 9999 quid tho.
  3. blasphemous is tight af. got every achievement, all 3 ng+ beads and the sword heart you get for beating the dlc bosses. so yeah, basically everything. ~47 hours. would gladly go on if there was more content. the latest dlc / patch was quite the treat for being free imo. but i have to agree about the side-quests / riddles: some where unnecessarily obtuse. also yeah, some gear combinations make boss balance go to shit. ng+ is still quite alot tougher tho. i'd recommend starting with penitence of the bleeding heart.
  4. hm, knew i had seen that b4... https://www.reddit.com/r/Astronomy/comments/8lkhzd/closeup_of_jupiter_looks_like_work_of_art_nasa/

  6. happy camping sporting these rn: frönt bäck
  7. and yet again, seemingly out of nowhere, a new krallice album: wee.
  8. barney sounds alot more powerful in recent times than even the 90s, what happened?
  9. it just happens to be the first song to be played on bandcamp, used the general album id.
  10. nice, fell for it.
  11. beautiful stuff, the lighting in this one is like straight out of a hopper painting:
  12. used to enjoy morningrise quite a bit, especially this part: can't say i've been following em much since, but judging by the stuff my flatmate (big fan) showed me it went all downhill from there.
  13. no mention of the cirith ungol comeback album yet?? not too shabby, positively surprised tbh, especially by the vocal delivery.
  14. oh and speaking about inside: only recently learned there's been an ARG going on since june 16, still unsolved. reads like cryptographer's delight, pretty mindblowing actually (spoilers galore obvs): https://wiki.gamedetectives.net/index.php?title=Inside_ARG
  15. This is Hideo Kojima's favorite game. Really good shit and super cinematic for a sidescroller. Not too long either so it's pretty easy to play through in a few sittings. music and sound design are top notch, too especially during part.
  16. entertaining read. but i don't think trump is the worst human being ever or anything, would he have his righteous status as some village idiot in the middle of nowhere he'd probably be worthy of pity really. as (arguably) most powerful man in the world however... really just another of those examples that lead neoliberal ideas of meritocracy ad absurdum. imo. like white says: the most disturbing thing is the fact that apparently anything can assemble a cult following in vast portions of a society given the circumstances, and any discussion based on reason seems to be impossible. i used to think educational systems could be an answer but honestly nowadays that everyone travels with a supercomputer in his/her pocket, having the whole of human knowledge at disposal at any time, there's really no justification for ignorance anymore already. but turns out doesn't work shit, instead we got "post-factualism". i'm honestly out of ideas for alternatives that don't go in somewhat totalitarian directions eventually and that makes me sad when i think about it. blah.
  17. "*kkrrrpffl*... WASH... YOUR... HAAANDS!"
  18. i wonder if kyle reese was the inspiration behind the name... would be kinda ironic rly.
  19. tbh i didn't even consider he's most likely referring to ancient greek, which i guess is fair game (wir ja sagen ja auch "kaoss" etc)... still... fucking imbibles!
