I remember thinking the Union Jack was supposed to be symmetrical and finding out a very long time ago that it wasn’t (first visited the UK in ‘79). I was very surprised. But every flag I saw flown at “official places” touristy spots had the asymmetrical Union Jack.

Yes that was part of the article I linked. Others aren't so sure. The point is that we learn new things about our world every day, so I'm not sure why you're so surprised about learning about new things that people spend their lives studying (like you learning about foramina) that you didn't know about.

I didn't know where to post this, but beyond the 14 people charged in the attempt to kidnap the Governor of Michigan, an individual has been arrested for threatening to kidnap the mayor of Wichita because of a mask mandate, a man in Maryland has been arrested on charges of threatening Biden and Harris, and a North Carolina man was arrested on charges of child porn and found with weapons and explosives and was allegedly plotting to assassinate Biden. Y'all are just just freeing it up down there.

Unlike the United victory today (8/10), I give this troll effort a 3.5/10. Also, Lazio looked very impressive in their win over Dortmund, and Juve looked fucking bored as they stomped all over poor Dynamo Kyiv. I didn't bother watching Barca trounce whoever the fuck they were playing.
