  1. Again, again and again...i can't get over it! I really REALLY hate the last 1:30 minute of YjY UX! With this track they've managed to achieve the highest level of abstraction and the rarest moment in all of arts IMO. Everything builds up nicely until a complete hidden universe reveals its self in its fullest extend at 4:42 and continues to stay visible over the next minute of so and after that everything falls apart...that harsh sound is back (which i like until that moment) totally out of the place and nothing of that sweet feeling from 4:42 is left. The track should have finished with its head above the clouds! ...Fade it out while is still at the genius level like you did with Sublimit! But no, let's fakitup ...just cause we can! I wouldn't bother me much if I don't like the track very VERY much. This is the first time I'm really disappointed with Ae's decision.
  2. So that was while the album was still fresh/actual. What i need is Con-Draft-Unt-Quari vinyls. Yes, i could find them on the net but used and for several millions of money. I want them perfectly fresh, still with toxic off-gasing.
  3. Yes, i really like it for that! Better buy the vinyl now before it's out-of-stock on this planet...God knows when and if we're gonna have repress of it. I'm waiting for vinyl reissues of their other albums for ages and nothing :( ...only have Overmoves and Exai. Maybe in the near future you'll buy a turntable if not you can always sell the vinyl for more than you payed for it. p.s. Why there's no reissues?! No enough demand?
  4. Wow...they're so beautiful! I'm gonna order the CD as well. Thnx! ;)
  5. That's what i thought about Oversteps but now i know i was wrong.
  6. This was hard... 1. Quaristice - Altibzz 2. Tri repetae - Clipper 3. Amber - Nil 4. Chiastic Slide - Cipater 5. Incunabula - Windwind 6. Oversteps - Treale 7. Draft 7.30 - Surripere 8. Untilted - Sublimit 9. Confield - Pen Expers 10. LP5 - Drane2 11. Exai - YJY UX
  7. I hope it's stickers! That silver one could sit nicely on the back of my MBP to cover the shiny apple logo.
  8. This changes all the time...except for the first place. 1. Untilted 2. Draft 3. Confield 4. LP5 5. Oversteps 6. Quaristice 7. Chiastic Slide 8. Tri Repetae 9. Amber 10. Incunabula Exai is within top 5 so far and i doubt that it could dethrone Untilted in the near future.
  9. I like his sense of humor! :)
  10. I was impatient to hear what would a 'real programming' bring to the table but i can't hear it in Exai...or better to say there's nothing in it that i can't imagine being made with conventional tools and technics. Could be they're holding their new powers for the next project. Exai sounds like they're deliberately closing one of the most important chapters in electronic music history anyway. Time for the next big thing? Hope so!
  11. Yes it is. Started at 0:11 but it's not just plain piano notes + heavy processing...i also hear 'knocking a piano's wood' samples.
  12. i love the ending of YJY UX! that last little blip at the end always gets me. It's like they consciously decided to make it end with a smirk and wink. i consider kiosk to be the actual ending though... a very nice afterglow/cooling off song. YJY UX I see as exotic/mysterious nocturne but at the same time very uplifting tune cause it opens spiritual paths in my mind and i like that state of being more than any other. The ending of Sublimit is letting me to stay in that state...a very nice aftertaste. F# with the winks in the wrong place! The very ending is the most important moment of any album. Yes, of course that the winky ending could be intentional but what good it brings? For me the end could easily be better if they wasn't inert at least with its melodic nature like they was. Easily?! How? If the last min or the very end took sudden turn into something even more uplifting or into a lowest melodic common denominator - something like the background melody at 3:11... and all that while in fade out, or without it...and we can smirk and wink afterwards all day. Yes, i know! It's their music and they can do with it what ever they want but if we're talking about it let me be weird for a moment. I have rights too and one of my rights is to be a weirdo. IMO, to be able to compose such melodies one has to be able 'see' hidden world...and that's the rarest thing. What do i mean by 'hidden world'? Not the easiest term to explain for a non-native English speaker but the easiest for me is to compare it to the world of Schopenhauer's ideas or even Junglian God's world. I hear in their music they're able to 'see' it and that is the main and the most important capacity that differentiate Autechre from others artists IMO. So with the wink after such a precious divine moment that the track invokes i see it as they ridiculing themselves with it and all this in the intend to be cool or macho...cause they're afraid of cheesiness or something? WTF? Are they teenagers?! F# coitus reservatus!
  13. I only regret for YJY UX not having better ending; the last minute is very weak (compared to the rest) and that affects the whole album. The reason Untitled has the best ending IMO is cause Sublimit itself has the best ending ever; the last 4-5 min + the melody at the end. That's the only thing i find fault with Exai so far.
  14. I thought it might be pronounced: "brain melting experience" lol But it huddles our brains.
  15. Guys, guys...my dear friends, I can't explain to you how i like Exai so far. Helping me so much on my path. I remember how in some video interview they (i think it was Rob talking) regret for not being able to say to their influencers(???) how much they mean(t) to them. I know how they feel. ...ah, yes it's pathetic but why should i lie?
  16. d..d..did he just... ...put Ae & Skrklexxx in the same sentence?!
