    Sure, but it's common knowledge now - surely word got around to them. Granted, it wouldn't exactly be good PR for them to gripe about it at this point. It's certainly not hurting them any, and it gives McD's better street cred. That's prob why they've chosen to leave it be.

    If this isn't sampled extensively on the new album I'll be very disappoint. Also, how did he get away with sampling a McD commercial on Replica, among various other corporate jingle snippets? Seems implausible that that would happen without lawsuits springing up everywhere.

    Can't find Otto Von Schirach - Supermeng anywhere - not even his bandcamp... which is odd because he has several releases older than that on there. I've oft fantastized about hearing that album since its release.

    Probably the best post-trauma victim quote of all time, if this is indeed not satire. Most of the related articles would be significantly more offensive than is usually the case, if it were satire. But that quote really does sound like a satirist put some time into crafting it (weird punctuation aside), so I just don't know. Also wtf happened to font size in the formatting options? I would have made this quote a bit more reasonable to look at, but that appears to be an impossibility. At the very least I would have made such a giant font bright pink, but can't do that either. This is an outrage.

    I did lol at the idea of OPN (or anyone) naming his next album Magic. Does tie in with the vaporwave/ironic aesthetic tho.

    There are a lot of records where each side has a clearly well thought out, deliberate opener and closer. More CDs/digital releases should have some kind of intermission halfway through to reflect this.

    Ordered coconut curry and got butter chicken instead. It was still delicious, so barely a FWP... but as far as FWPs go it is pretty stupid, so it counts. The greater FWP is I couldn't find the Dr. Autechre chocolate pizza in stock anywhere, so I missed out on the international group dessert pizza night. I will still try it when/if I see it next.

    I'm enjoying this quite a bit. Sound design's off the hook as always, although taking side-stage to the vocals, which predictably is putting a lot of the watmm crowd off. WTF is there a Bjork - Aurora remix in here in a Spanish? (in the middle of first listen as I type.) I like that I can't understand any of the lyrics. Makes the words come across more like synths/textures for me. I'd deliver food to this fo' sure. *fires up CD burner*

    The fires from down south has cast the island I live on in a grey fog, despite 100 miles of ocean between us. I can feel it in my throat. It was fun. The band teacher just let students who were interested work on music using a roland keyboard + computer for an hour. There was no class beyond that - no instructions or assignments. Just make music and occasionally show him what you're working on.

    I was in this music comp class in gr 12, where there were only ever 2-3 students at a time working on keyboard/computer compositions. One day while I was in there minding my own business, some homie kid walked in, said "sup" and peed in the waste bin. He wasn't there to bother me or anything, he just liked to be bad any time he thought he could get away with it. I guess he was the 'Murica of my grad class. Weird memory.
