  1. I didn't see the word "savage" and just had images of a gorilla in rape mode
  2. I'd be interested in hearing what you'd say is a really good movie. I'm not being trite. Genuinely interested because for me, this movie is probably the best I've seen this decade. Same here.
  3. Oversteps should have been the Bladelores 2049 soundtrack. I think Imax next for me too.
  4. Not seen any of the Disney star wars films yet. Might binge watch the trilogy and spin-offs one day though. Feel pretty meh about it all.
  5. Saw this last night. Great overall, apart from not enough leg room in my cinema and I got a sore hip from shuffling every 10 minutes. Leto was pointless and unnecessary. The replicant evil chick was great though. Agreed on the score - underwhelming music with no memorable melodic sections ( I actually found myself humming Rachel's theme during the credits) but sound design overall was great. Up and down fading light stuff during the the Leto / Dekkard scene was cool with all the shimmering water stuff going on. Film looked sexy. A rare great sequel. 8/10
  6. https://aether42.bandcamp.com/album/memory-in-solitude Recently discovered this chap from Pennsylvania who makes my kinda noise. Nice noisy blasts (not HNW) with vocal and synth samples with some great use of stereo effect. Plenty of variety, just about to give his 2nd release a go.
  7. Simply Bread Otis Breading And you will know us by the trail of Bread
  8. Need to stay vigilaent all the time! I still begrudge the day I missed out on Quaristice Ltd. Ed 2xCD edition. I was on a health and safety course :(
  9. Both tracks were previously available on touched compilations, and it is touched putting out this record.
  10. Kermode is a great benchmark, he doesn't always get it right in my eyes but as a critic I appreciate his opinions. His reviews are pretty good at not being too spoilery as well.
  11. a dead subculture is technically still a subculture IDM was wasn't even a subculture
  12. The original is flawed and I suspect this will be too. But I have hopes to be entertained more than Alien:Cov
  13. I rarely go to the cinema, but I will for this. I want to be entertained, I will eat popcorn.
  14. Premiere episode and streaming-only episodes already cracked the Pirate Bay top 10 most downloaded shows. CBS should have aired it as a two-hour movie instead of the blatant bait and switch tactic to get fools to sign up for their lame streaming service. From what I'm hearing, Fuller handled the pilot, and not much else, so the rest of the series will be very different from the pilot, and supposedly most of the supporting characters won't appear in the main series (WTF?). "Here's a trailer for a new high budget series. DO you like it? BTW the actual series will be quite different, have different show runners, different cast and different themes. k lol"
