from the warpbot:

There is a new Clark album coming late January 2008!

This fresh material twists the lush electronics explored in Body Riddle towards a tougher, rave sound - sure to rip holes in even the biggest club soundsystems.

See Warp Live below for places to catch Clark's new solo live set - more dates are being planned for 2008.

Warp newsletter subscribers will receive some exclusive album info soon.

any news on the title?

Can't bloody wait for this, Body Riddle is the best album from the last 3 years or so. He spent a lot more time on that album than this one by the look of it though

there maybe a correlation between when I get a boner and when I think of a new clark album. I'm going to graph my boner vs time over the next few months and compare it with a graph of when i think of a new clark album vs time and let you guys know the results

"Chris Clark has been busy crafting his followup to the critically acclaimed 'Body Riddle' of 2006. From what we've heard, it's going to be well worth the wait. But in the meantime...

Friends of Clark and those who have seen his solo live show over the past few years will be excited to hear that Chris has (finally) agreed to release some of his vast archive of storming dancefloor techno tracks! There will be a single in late 07, and the album is due for release end of January 2008 with the title 'Turning Dragon'. This is Clark at his most ferocious and deadly, comprised of old, new and reworked material of the most brutal and uncompromising variety.

Check out 'Friendly Fires' on his myspace: myspace.com/throttleclark

And another exclusive 'Beg' on the overkill page: myspace.com/nedoverkill

And you'll know what we're talking about...

Clark is about to start a residency in Berlin, and will be taking select offers for solo live (*dancefloor club set*) shows in early 2008...

send your proposals to sam [at] littlebig.org.uk."

So Grizz, it sounds like they are tracks that he has been working on for a long time, and not just things that he's made since Body Riddle.

"Turning Dragon" sounds pretty cool. I read this in late October before I heard anything from Warp so I'm guessing it's legitimate.

I'm super stoked!
