What's wrong with this picture?

Hint: This is a tribute to ANTarctica.

okay so the picture didn't show up, but my point is that polar bears live in the Arctic, not Antarctica.

not sure how i feel about the title on the bottom

we might be on to something though with this thing

it seemed to obvious to put it at the top. i like how the space is *air quotes*misused*air quotes*

ak-antarc.jpg

this could work with some cropping.

ANT2bc.png

it's so beautiful.

nice work pig.

do we have a winner?

edit: actually drop the title down 10-15px. spacing spacing spacing

next up: redesign the futonic website competition.

futonic is awesome. needs an awesome website.

one of my favs so far

pigster's is ok but im not sure it would do well to represent the complexity/variety of tunes that will be on the comp.

that's cool, i kinda went with the opposite of what you're thinking and figured doing something as simple as possible would fit a compilation with all sorts of styles of electronic music (at least, i imagine it ranges from ambience stuffs to idm stuffs, etc). i'm actually kind of surprised people responded to it so whatever :)

first one is sweet ! second one is a little too similar to that really iconic only white album cover.. autechre's second peel release!

here's the pic without an underline or subtitle, for those without ms paint/imagination :)

ANT2bc.png

i like this. nice simplicity! though the font would be better as helvetica instead of arial, and maybe lowercase. or no text at all!

here are some mine...

these are both pretty great. though i dunno what could be done with the second image.

very nice but dont you guys think this looks more ultra depressing piano suite than idm?

I have to agree. But I also think Enter a New Display Name's look a bit too vintage, Victorian era photography colours.

Still think Pigster's original (minus the subtitles of course) is rocking it for this one. Just my opinion anyway.

That would be very lazy to steal this image from Google and use it as a cover artwork. I made a more bocful version of my "vintage" artwork.
