can't believe noone's mentioned this yet:

Dreamweb_cover.png

one of the best, if not THE best adventure game of all time.

that actually looks really good

also the point-and-click adventure version of blade runner is excellent

dreamweb was heavily inspired by the blade runner atmosphere, easily one of the most atmospheric games i've ever played.

not to mention the music:

I downloaded a BIG scummVM pack. I started playing loom, and was pleasantly surprised.

I had already played before:

Monkey Island: 1-4

The Dig

Full throttle

Maniac Mansion

Grimm Fandango

some of the the Indiana Jones games, but I need to finish them.

Gobliins a LONG time ago at a friends house, but I'd like to play again

the rest are new to me. I'm gonna play sam and max and day of the tentical next after I finish loom, because I've heard good things about them.

iain c just called me a moron.

I didn't, I asked a question. Anyway, Dreamweb was OK, too much pixel-hunting and illogical puzzles, lots of dead ends if you hadn't picked up the right objects in previous scenes, basically all the same problems that all adventure games had before LucasArts rewrote the rulebook. Oh yeah, and the sex scene was megaweak. You might be a moron for all I know though.

i'm pretty sure/would be interested to see if plants vs zombies will run on an old box

I keep reading about this, about how good it is, but I can't bring myself to try it because... well, look at it.

all doubts will be addressed when you see the zombie bobsled team and the michael jackson zombies. there are genuine lol moments all over this game.

it's incredibly fun game designed for short bursts. it does what it sets out to do really well. i can't fault it.
