yes i like it too. that porn video track is my favorite so far. a dub mix with a more prominent bassline would be a killer.

liking the shitty radiorip so _I will probably think the retail is nice!

Yeah the last album really depressed me, apart from the single Special Cases the album felt like someone just sighing in my face for an hour. I mean the production was quite good but Del Naja's vocals just sound like a teenager's moaning ramblings and has a vocal range of about 4 notes.

Well damn, I actually enjoyed it. Few dull tracks, but a lot better in general than I expected. Swear I heard a 303 or similar synth on there a couple times too.

This is good, I didn't want to see them completely burn out in 2010. And this was the last album that Jerry Fuchsdrummer recorded on.

there's plenty of acid-ish lines going on on heligoland. slow ones. quite funky.

i enjoyed this album.

i feel like the last half was the best.

last track 'atlas air' is a highlight.

To be honest, if it hadn't said 'Massive Attack' on the cover I wouldn't have guessed that it would be a Massive Attack album - ok, maybe Andy Horace and Robert del Naja's voices would have given it away but still. There are three tracks, so far, that I really like; "Paradise Cirus", "Saturday Comes Slow", and "Pray for Rain" but the rest of the tracks might grow on me.

it's a good album, but definitely does not compare to works of the past. i really appreciate the fact that they've gotten such a wide ensemble of guest singers to play for heligoland. unfortunately, after hearing this album, i am forced to concur that robert del naja's darkish singing has been what i've always wanted in a massive attack release. that's why for me, atlas air is clearly the winner on this album.

Well the things finally arrived in the post and it's much better than I espected. Still deeply in love with Paradise Circus, and I quite enjoyed the cheeky silliness of Splitting The Atom and the grand sound of Flat of the Blade. The only tracks that let it down for me were the two where moany moan man is the only vocalist of the track (Rush Minute and Atlas Air), I really can't stand his vocal style ...

But yeah, a nice surprise

i liked this record less than 100th window... didn't really like the guest vocalists (i don't consider horace andy a guest at this point)... needs more 3d/daddy g

i saw them live yesterday it was good although they focused on the mezzanine sound which can be a bit monotone. horace andy seemed to not care at all but still did a good job, the other singers were exceptional specially whatshername on unfinished sympathy.

they didn't play paradise circus which was a surprise and also a disappointment, but it was all good. they played most of my favorites.

they included live (mariachi style) trumpet solos in karmacoma and in splitting the atom which was very cool, made splitting the atom sound like the saddest song ever. top stuff. +1.

ATTENZIONE!

Are they any good live?

I'm about to pull the trigger on some tickets

I feel like they have the potential to put on a great show, although I could easily see being bored to tears.
