Same here man, I have my original w/ an old school NES skin on it. I rarely play it anymore though. It was nice when I traveled all the time, but now I only ride the bus for like 10 minutes.

Yeah, I haven't play mines in a min .

I never traveled with it because it's pretty thick . The size of the Lite is perfect for me

Super Mario 64 DS is win . The controls take a little getting used to ( since there's no analog stick ) but other than that...it's great .

I just got a bunch of emulators for my droid; nes, snes, gbc, and gba, then downloaded a bunch of roms. I understand the legality of pirating current games, but I can't see buying a wii or ds so I can rebuy a mario game I already bought once 20 years ago. I buy some old games on xbox live arcade but it's a little different because of online multiplayer, achievements etc.

I want to get a DS Lite but I've read that the later models have a yellowing issue on one of the screens, also the d-pad is not the type I like being all mushy. DSi is still overpriced so I'll just wait until the 3DS comes out and get a DSi for cheap. I used to have a GameBoy Micro with a flash card, I played it all the time on the toilet, big fan of the WarioWare games, they're some of the most fun and creative games out there.

I got the original DS when it came out in blue. Now I have it and two lites (one black, one white). The white one has a crappy L button and the black one has a shitty touch screen (the connector inside is bad or something). I play with the white the most.

Way back when I got it, I played Metroid Prime: Hunters a ton. 5 star license and stuff, I have the Pokémon stuff too. >_>

The original has a GBA slot. What the hell are you on about?

i've got a black ds lite, i hardly ever play it though. it just sits in the bottom of my bag just in case i'm bored or something, heh.

anyway. games i've bought and hardly played:

new super mario bros - i should just admit it, i'm no good at platform games!

super monkey ball touched - looked interesting but the control system is fucked. the original gamecube versions are beautiful though.

mario kart - only really good to play multiplayer

games i've downloaded and played the fuck out of:

mario vs donkey kong 2 - march of the minis - easily the best ds game i've played

animal crossing - i dunno why but it's addictive as fuck

warioware touched - another very addictive one

i was also rather disappointed by both drawn to life and scribblenauts. great concepts, just not carried out terribly well.

I've got all the DS's up until the latest XL one or whatever. I have quite a few games, but I haven't played it in a while.

Bangai-O Spirits - Fucking amazing game, developed by Treasure. Enough said.

Kirby Canvas Curse - I loved playing this when it first came out, it was the first killer app in my opinion.

Meteos - One of my favorite puzzle games, too bad they fucked up the franchise with a crappy disney skin.

Advanced Wars, both of them - Not too much different than the GBA ones I'd say, but still addictive and enjoyable.

Big Bang Mini - Unique concept, cheap game, great music.

Mario & Luigi Partners In Time - my first mario and luigi RPG, I loved it.

Retro Game Challenge - If you like 8-bit gaming, it is awesome and addictive. It's many games in one.

Space Invaders Extreme - Really stylized shmup, love it.

there is a fixed version. I stopped playing this and I don't know why. Phantom Hourglass, I really couldn't put the DS down for more than an hour before loading my game up again.

One of the best games released for the DS was The Dark Spire, imo.

Interesting - missed that. Thanks for the tip.

spirit tracks is more or less a less bs version of phantom hourglass.

(speaking of less bullshit versions of games, HOLY SHIT HOW GOOD IS MARIO GALAXY 2)
