They said the robot was learning, but it clearly wasn't doing a very good job, and then it switched to motion capture analysis. Looked to me like they were just feeding in mocap data, which would of course lead to a realistic flip, but isn't about "learning" at all, just having the machine repeat canned human data... Anyway, cool. I know everyone talks about sex robots, probably imagining animated, responsive, and buxom realdolls, but something like this makes me think they'll be able to replace the male partner just as fast.
