these pictures just kill me.

 

It makes me think about the coping mechanisms that some parents must just instantly gain when dealing with some awful condition like this in a child. taking pictures like there's nothing completely fucked up about her face... "oh what do you mean her face is fucked up... it's society's expectations that are fucked up!"

 

lol sorry, had 3 very strong martinis.

for juliana's parents, the coping resembles "it's god's plan!" more than anything else.

 

i wonder how fucking stupid you have to be to refuse an abortion when doctors tell you your baby will be born without a face. i mean, come on. it's a life of hell for the child too.
