Troon speaks the truth. Ovals & Emeralds is insane.

As for the 12", it's perfectly enjoyable but it's not heavyweight gear by any means. Fair play to Bibio for having a go at all these different styles though. It's a pretty refreshing approach for such a well known artist to take.

very true, Lucy..

see, i wish women would come in here more often and speak their minds, cos women can make a lot of sense of things without having to be a prick.

..checking ovals and emeralds...

That was cool. When I saw him live it was kinda like that mpc video only more dancey. It enjoyed it quiet a bit.

Never heard this Duckular stuff but I dig. Is this a side project? Do you know where I can find more of this?

those are the only tracks ive ever come across but i think i remember there being more on his duckular myspace page, sadly he closed it out and theres nothing of interest on it anymore

bibio once said this to me in a myspace message, pre-ambivalence avenue: "Duckular and bibio have no definite boundaries, so expect to hear the spirit of duckular on the warp release."

also stephen confirmed this as a track of his, sounds very much like duckular:

"Willenhall" sounds like something Mike Paradinas or Luke Vibert would do. Very Planet-µ.

YES! After about 2:53 'WIllenhall' starts to sound very much like Mike P! It is awesome indeed, though the Clark is no slouch. The sound design is great on 'Baskerville Grinch'. This is a wonderful sounding pressing as well!

This was my favourite record day 2011 release along the nicely executed Art of Noise Into Battle 2xLP.

Bibio's track was spinned for at least several months in my ipod list as well.

Clark is also a banger but the track has to grow on me strangely more than the Bibio side.
