I've never understood the whole thing of Cheese and something sweet. Cheese should be on toast. with Marmite. or on a Pizza. Cheese with Apple seems kinda nasty. am I wrong? Cheese with Apple seems kinda nasty. am I wrong? fruit acts as a palate cleanser when you're eating loads of cheese. especially if you're eating a cheese platter.. stops your palate from being overwhelmed by cheesiness and you can taste the individual cheeses better. wine or chutney are also good for that. the addition of sweet and sour flavours to savoury things is also pretty accepted as something that is enjoyable.
