Not sure if this is jazz or not since the search function is pure shit. Here it is:

This is so interesting. As strange as it sounds, I really love hearing serial killers and other people talk about their experiences and motivations.

This is a classic. I enjoy his childlike naivete. Seems like a pretty nice guy aside from the whole killing and eating people thing.

Please don't talk about this guy positively. He is disgusting.

I'm not really speaking about him positively, more ironically. But he really does seem like a bewildered little kid. It's kind of funny, in a this-guy-killed-and-ate-someone-despite-seeming-like-a-lost-teddy-bear kind of way. I laugh because I would otherwise cry.

yeah, I made it through 5 minutes. The reason I didn't think it was that interesting is he just seems so pathetic. He starts off talking about how maybe he's an alien from planet cannibal. That's his "I am unique" special self-rationalization. But as you'd expect, it seems more like he's a huge misfit who had no idea how to take a girl out on a date, so out of his insecurity, he decided to go the "easy" route and kill her and have his way with her. Oh yeah, and he may or may not be a sociopath, so...

really gross video. it bothers me that the guy wasn't properly punished but wrote a book instead.. the fuck?

...Japan

I feel like this guy could have been kept normal if someone just introduced him to porn and a fleshlight at a younger age.

Just another example of how strict illogical social rules ingrained at a young lead to guilt that in turn leads to psychosis. He basically says he wishes he was dead at the end so that is justice in my opinion.

um, maybe "Europe"? Sounds like he did the crime in France. Question is why'd they repatriate him? Don't care enough to find out. What a prick.

Yeah but they sent him back to Japan I thought it said, which is where he wrote the book and made the films

certainly both France and Japan were shockingly lame about how they handled it. And yeah, I'm sure there were a lot of Japanese guys with insecurity about having small pen*ses who secretly delighted in the fact that one of their countrymen shot a hot white chick and ate her

"take that, bitch who wouldn't give me a second glance! I can't f*ck you but I can eat you!"

What I find interesting is the fact that he knows what he's doing is totally fucked up, but can't stop himself. From what I can surmise, he didn't have an out-of-body type experience, but was completely in control and knowing that he's wrong for shooting and eating a woman.

Just wait for the part where he says he wants to be torn apart by a beautiful woman. He's completely a sociopath. His actions really tell that he doesn't give a damn about anyone else, although he displays a deception of showing remorse.

Utterly fascinating.

Ok I admit I came back to watch the rest. Actually it did get really interesting, when the porn star was hired to have sex with him. The Japanese truly are amazing, in the US that would get you slapped with the biggest lawsuit ever. It's like the Milgram experiment, not ethical but now that it's been done, quite interesting to see her reaction. Seems she got a little Stockholm syndrome after the fact, going back to hang out with him. The part with the two crazy "lesbians" was interesting too.

He is a reprehensible guy though, despite the seeming modesty and honesty, he's 100% full of shit when he says he had "no choice but to be vulgar and take all the exploitative writing and film opportunities he was offered" after his act. Yeah, fuck you dude. Saying he "had no idea" about the content of the video he agreed to. Moaning about his lack of money. He's a pure famewhore and sociopath.

Edit: posted at the same time as you, Braintree. Yeah, I guess I don't find sociopathy interesting any more. However there were more interesting tidbits here with the various women he encountered that I found interesting. In my opinion, the guy does deserve to be locked up for the rest of his life, and the money he made (which I'm sure is more than he's letting on) should all be given to the family of his victim.

or maybe "anywhere with celebrities"?

he is a fucking disgusting, tortured, psychotic, pathetic human being....and it is sad enough attention has been given to him. and yet maybe 10% of people that watch the documentary will buy his book, whether ironically or not, and as much as I hate it, Im a part of it.

OJ Simpson has literally on the cusp of publishing a book titled "If I Did It", and he would have been guaranteed massive sales...the only reason it was shut down was because of the PR black eye the New York Times Bestseller's list would have suffered by having to admit it on its list.

Society can be fucking disgusting.

we are all responsible not for the man's actions, but the continuation of these act's as infamous moments in history.

this is the problem I have with a lot of Vice documentaries: oh its cool that we get to see all the "crazy weird shit" that goes on in North Korea, without realizing the very real consequences of this ignorant drunkard American's visit: that a few people will probably be executed or given harsh labor sentences for not establishing more equitable propaganda for the NK government. well fuck em anyway, they should have been BORN IN THE USA LOL LOL AWESOME
