I'm trying to get Apple Music embeds working - does anyone see the above? To use the embed:

  1. Go to https://music.apple.com or find an Apple Music track you'd like to share.
  2. Click the "..." button and then choose Share
  3. Choose Copy Embed Code
  4. In the editor, click on the Apple Music logo and paste in the copied URL.

I feel like an idiot but I can't get the Bandcamp Player Embed to work. Basically I go to the bandcamp track/album, go to "embed", choose layout, choose "wordpress" (not html), and copy and paste the shortcode into the "Bandcamp Player Embed." However, it always comes up with a 400 error code, as seen below. (Or maybe you don't see it!) What am I doing wrong?

I guess they're going to try and not repeat some of SoundCloud's mistakes?

I'm looking for some help with integrating Discogs via their API into the forum - not quite sure yet what we could do/is possible, but someone who knows PHP and has experience working with APIs would be best suited.
I'm thinking having users' Discogs Collections displayed on their Members page, or items they have for sale or their wishlist - that kind of thing. It might also be handy when discussing a release to have a link to the release on Discogs and pull in artwork, info, etc.
Discogs API is here if you want to have a look: https://www.discogs.com/developers/#page:home
I'm also thinking for the benefit of whomever helps me out with this is to turn this into an Addon for Invision and in turn they could sell it in their Marketplace to recoup their time and effort if they wished.
PM me if interested, or use the Support link above to send me an email. Any ideas for the integration are also welcome!

I didn't get bitten by the streaming bug 'til I tried out Apple Music around 6 months ago; I tried Spotify and the lot but didn't really get into it cus of the bad interface (+ ogg vorbis). Once I found out that Apple Music had seamless integration with their library and your local library + tag editing I was hooked, the convenience of this platform has made it almost impossible to go back to my 100% local library. The question that's been biting me ever since has been, "Is this moral?" not only is Apple (and every other streaming service) paying artists close to nothing, but also technically restricting the user's freedom with DRM.

Are streaming services further contributing to the corporate control over the music industry by shafting indie labels and individuals in the name of convenience? Do they cheapen the art form? Is any of this morally acceptable?
