In a few weeks a Hampshire field will explode with all sorts of live electronic music and associated festive happenings, courtesy of the Antiworld Festival. The full line-up for the Friday evening, during which I’m performing, features the likes of Digitonal, Infinite Scale, Calika, Isan and Zainetica, showcasing such indie labels as Toytronic, Benbecula, Boltfish, Static Caravan and Rednetic. That’s just one stage (of half a dozen or so), of one evening. Stay for the weekend and check out Plaid, Ninja Tune founders Cold Cut, Hexstatic, Digitalism, Speedy-J, plus about six million more acts. Square Roots - *BENGA* *EQUINOX* HATCHA* - Brighton - June 21st!!

Square Roots returns for another shindig down at the Volks with another boombastic lineup to whet your whistle. Benga makes his Square Roots debut, showcasing that deep n dirty sound that has made him a mainstay in the dubstep scene. Speeding things up a little bit we have one of the original masters of jungle, Equinox (Planet Mu), ready to hype the place up with some twitchy breaks and old skool badness. Rounding things off is dubstep badman Hatcha (FWD) plus Escapee Planes, TV Youth, Lloydnoise and loads more. Once again we have the full 15k brutality of the Gramps system so there will be rumblage!! Benga (Tempa, Planet Mu) Hatcha (Fwd, Big Apple) Equinox (Pl…

If so have you gone through the registration system yet? I need to do it, I don't want to keep forgetting then run out of time... Surely AFX is due a performance this year, it's been years since he's played at Glasto. I remember 2004 he did a no-show which I was most annoyed about, no announcement he'd pulled out, just some soul/funk band taking the stage instead. I heard a rumour he had fallen in the mud and thrown a hissy fit about playing, probably bollocks but it's an amusing thought! Glastonbury is always a good vibe anyway, I always enjoy myself when I go. Not quite as good as Glade mind, some of the scheduling leaves a lot to be desired (remember one year…
