  1. When I was really young (7 or so) I used to stay up way past my bedtime, maybe midnight or 1AM. I think it was the college station here or something would just cut to the BBC at those hours. So me and my brother used to record the Essential Mix straight to cassette on his boombox/stereo thing. lol good times. IIRC A Guy called Gerald's E mix was one of the first ones we recorded.
  2. I know the Essential Mix gets a hard time around here, but Guy's 1995 Essential mix is p much what got me into jungle.
  3. But... you could just choose not to go to that public space, just like any other space. I mean, is it really a public space anyways other than the general public can use it? It's more like a lease or rental, you can't alter it etc. It's like a little timeshare.
  4. I wayyy prefer the flavour of Coke Zero to regular coke or diet coke. The latter are way too sweet and after being open for a half hour lose their carbonation.
  5. there are maybe four paths to idm. "goth" -> industrial -> idm (i got into aphex through nin and nothing records) autism (it sounds like my video games and i see norse gods fighting in the sky when i listen to drukqs) mortal kombat soundtrack -> the prodigy "funky shit on the event horizon soundtrack"/pi soundtrack/matrix soundtrack -> idm (lesser autism) and then there's being british, which means you're probably around fifty years old and went to raves in the eighties, but most of these people are dead. I think I'm paths #2 and #3. I've learned so much the last few pages.
  6. Does it mean anything that I've never painted my nails anything, whether black polish or bright colours? =(
  7. Do most people have a goth phase??! (sorry, probably something subjective I'm missing lol, just makig sure I can add "goth phase" to my excel spreadsheet of phases I missed".
  8. slow downnnnnnnnnnnnnn lol jk, I just can't keep up. Every set I hear is awesome, thanks for sharing!
  9. Well homie, I scanned the thread and thankfully I can confirm this is only my second post on this page. whatchutalkin'bout willis? Do you need a snickers or something?
  10. Ugh, no. Tbh I haven't been trying too hard - in the process of selling our house so a ton of our stuff (non-essentials) are boxed up. Turntable included. Digital only these days. Once we get into the new place, redoing my whole stereo and fixing the tt are priority numero uno.
