    @IDEM thanks for the recommendations! That gives me some good starting points. I don’t do any streaming (yet), I need a high capacity player ideally 512gb+, I think most of them these days are expandable with SD cards so that’s a bonus! hows the UI on the Sony player you have? That’s part of why I kept doing custom iPod classics is the UI is so straightforward and I like the click wheel. I don’t want a player where I have to push lots of buttons (tough to use while driving + buttons by their nature tend to wear out).

    Do you have a one of their MP3 players? I was thinking of getting one when this iPod classic dies. I need something high capacity and would prefer not to have to use a headphone amp with it... decent dac etc.

    Out of curiosity, why did you go with a noise cancelling set? I've actually never put on a pair of noise cancelling headphones tbh. Just wondering if the effect is worthwhile. Wireless/Bluetooth are also kind of red flags for me as I'm oldschool ignorant and tend to think wired would just be better. No basis for thinking that lol. Edit: btw not criticizing at all, love sony headphones just wondering what drew you to those as I have NO understanding of noise cancelling or wireless tech! I might be in the market for some new cans once I... become employed again lol ?

    Don't laugh but I love sony headphones and earbuds.... Even their lower end ones like the ones I'm currently enjoying the stupid mdr-xb1000s.... lol

    Yeah man, that’s where I’m at in life. Don’t care if it makes me look better or anything like that I just need to look after my health. Personally I don’t care if I die young from a heart attack or whatever but I know how my friends and family would be super upset so I’m kind of doing this for them too. ? not trying to be dramatic lol

    Mixing/mastering I agree with but the arrangement etc on this is way diff than Damaged furries. In every sense of the word/s I feel like this is a far better album. Drum work, spazzy acid lines etc is reminiscent of his older stuff for sure.

    I’ve been taking a multifaceted approach and for the first time it’s working for me in big ways. Eating 300 cals less per day, ensuring I get about 3000 more steps per day (appr 200 cals per day there), and I’m on a lipase inhibitor. Overall I’m looking at about 18-20k less calories per month so I’m hoping to hit 210lbs by the end of feb. ? this isn’t for any aesthetic reason, and tbh I have way more muscle than I need. I just legit need to lose mass for my heart health. That’s my big focus is getting my blood pressure and RHR under control. edit: srry yek! I wish you good luck with a healthier diet. Didn’t mean to ramble on with my approach.

    I wanted some shit fast food as I’ve been on a restricted calorie diet, lost 7lbs in the last two weeks actually. Ordered a baconator from Wendy’s and these fuckers sent me a bacon cheeseburger. this is almost as bad as being sent a shitty pizza

    Anyways yeah - very sorry my post was so triggering to anyone. The album is great, still my fav of his in a long ass time. Hope everyone that purchased it and is noble enough to wait until the official release date has their expectations met. I for one have a lot of extremely shitty things going on in my personal life and the reprieve/relief of a new pusher album that I paid for even though not officially released was too tempting to pass by.

    Right that makes a ton of sense. I’m sure my bleep 320kbps mp3s will be mixed and mastered much different than these 320kbps mp3s. I should withhold any judgement until I hear the right 320kbps mp3s I know how much different they can be. Ive listened through now 17 times I’m sure I’m allowed to discuss what I enjoy and don’t enjoy about it.

    As much as I'm enjoying this alboom - I'm gradually finding some criticisms. Of course. lol. Is it just me or is it compressed AF?.... Just do a side by side comparison between a track or two from the album, alongside something ubiquitous; play it beside something like Syro, or Bon Jovi for all I care. There is something seriously off with the mixing/mastering on this. Disclaimer - I'm saying this as a massive SP fan, Phudo level fanboy even.
