Here's the burning question tho, and a potentially damning one for KanYe if the 2009 meme still has any clout; which side would Beyonce Knowles be on? And I thought this guy's time in the service was supposed to make him less of a snowflake. -

Jair Bolsonaro is shaping up to be the Trump of Brazil. I guess dictatorships are the latest fashion trend. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-45780176- 22,233 replies

I don't really know if there actually are more of us against Trump than those completely loyal to him now. Seems like it's split evenly in half. Either way, never in my life have I seen this degree of political polarization. I know what it's like having people close to you whom you've known pretty much your whole life to now be on the opposite side. Guess this is a time when everybody's showing their true colors.- 22,233 replies

So in that case it wasn't entirely Murray's fault but rather pressure from Sony. Either way, I'd say all is forgiven at this point. Still getting used to the controls and such, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it now. For example. I just experienced a new horror element to the game. Everything seems relatively serene during your stroll across across the planetary landscape, but then there's a chance of stumbling upon a derelict outpost infested with parasitic fauna, broken machinery, and corrupted terminals. And the eggs...don't shoot the eggs...

No Man's Sky is surprisingly immersive now. Of course it's been getting massive updates in recent months. But getting back into it after two years when it was initially launched, I think it's finally living up to the 2016 hype. I think Hello Games should've just delayed the initial launch until this year, but then again I can forgive them for being a still new, somewhat inexperienced developer. Because I'm actually enjoying this game now.

Well ain't that fuckin' dandy. Thanks Collins, Flake, and Manchin (a Democrat). Not surpised tho. I just hope we can flip some seats in Congress a month from now, and hopefully if we succeed we can find a way to unseat him. But the midterms are pretty much our last hope at this point.- 22,233 replies

I have a gut feeling that shit will get worse for this planet in the coming decades, regardless of political climate.

Pretty sure Kava-cunt is gonna get confirmed at this point. I'm proud of Murkowski for voting no, but it likely won't be enough. The final vote still lies ahead, but I'm not optimistic. One month til midterms. I reckon it's our last hope to change course from the path towards a full-fledged Nazi America. But I have a feeling the GOP will try to rig it somehow.- 22,233 replies

lol It would be easier to laugh if it weren't for the Senate vote still looming tomorrow on Kavanaugh's confirmation. I truly hope they can stop him.- 22,233 replies

There was also a fan-made Metroid: Rogue Dawn, which was supposed to be a prequel to the original NES one. Came out January 2017, but I never got around to it.

Finally took it upon myself to watch The Lawnmower Man: Director's Cut. I did so just for the scene where Rosco the chimp (aka Cyboman) gets gunned down by that private security firm Dr. Angelo (Pierce Brosnan) works for. It was hilarious watching him flailing around like a distraught soccer mom. Plot spoiler ahead But yeah. Jobe tried to make up for his lifelong disability by turning into Super Jobe. Then tried to turn the world into some kind of Vaporwave hell. Big LOLs were had at the cheesy CGI, especially with Super Jobe turning G-men into Dippin' Dots and unleashing Vaporwave bees on security personnel.

I feel like we should coin a name for this era in Ae's career since 2014. I'm tempted to call it Ae's "post-studio" era, because in the last four years they've pretty much abandoned the tradition of studio-recorded LPs followed by pretty much every other signed artist on the planet and have established their own sets. And AE_LIVE, Elseq, and NTS are all connected and inter-woven in one form or another, in an almost ethereal fashion...if that makes sense. Of course that's one of the reasons I love Ae. They excel at breaking convention.

Yep, I see the connection now too. (Feels weird using the word "see" in an audio context because it's literally from a different sense) Same with g 1 e 1 and the end of AE_LIVE Brussels (and I think Dublin too)
