    Apparently the SARS virus killed 800 people. But that was back in 2003. And I think one guy in Seattle got infected by coronavirus but is in recovery.

    Just pre-ordered Doom Eternal. Guess I'll find out if it'll run on my 6.5 year old laptop. Doom 2016 runs fine on it tho. Also just found out there's a Skyrim mod that adds guns to the game. Tempting to start a new run just for that.

    Yup. In fact, my understanding is that Warren Spector, the original creator (who also directed Deus Ex), is working on the third game. But lore-wise SShock 3 will be more of a pre-sequel, since it takes place after the first game but before the second.

    Speaking of birds, I saw a raven fly away right after I parked my car upon returning home from my morning grocery run. But the sound of its wing flap was nearly identical to that of someone rapidly swinging a knife. Crazy.

    Keyboard. Turns out the guy working at the store who sold it to me had one in his own studio. I only played with it for a few minutes while taking it for a test drive, but it was enough to convince me. And I think it has enormous potential.

    Just bought my first ever analogue synth. Korg Minilogue XD. Didn't do any prior research really. Basically a spur of the moment. But I did specifically have a polyphonic, preferably analogue synth made by Korg in mind, and this one just so happened to fit the bill.

    I used to have both devices, but now only have one. Gave my DS Lite to a friend as a farewell gift last September, since I haven't used it in ages anyway. Tried the Terminator: Resistance game last night, the one that came out two months ago. It's supposed to be special in that it's a faithful tribute to the first two films, though I haven't watched either. About as mediocre as I expected so far, but I'll continue regardless. Plays like a truncated modern Fallout game basically. Even has nearly identical lockpicking mechanics.

    Having similar FWPs with Canadian neighbors. It's about - 23 C in my locale as I type this. Alaskan climate is basically the same anyway. Supposed to warm up again next week tho with snow.

Regardless who crosses the finish line, my hope is that it's someone who gives a damn about doing their best in treating everyone fairly, as well as being keenly aware of human impact on this planet, and what we can do to mitigate the negative effects. Way I see it, politics divide us. Dank memes unite us.

    Because allegedly The RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan was vegetarian and sought a way to invent his own burger. So the result was two toasted waffles, a veggie patty, and fried egg as the basic ingredients.     Warren is a snake, I agree. Her stunt last night confirmed it. But that last part would be playing right into the hands of Trump and his cult. The first thing I want to see is Trump out of office. But the last thing I want to see is the Progressive movement be co-opted by a bunch of unhinged anarchists.

    I made what I call a RZA Seoul burger. Two waffles toasted, veggie burger patty, slice of medium cheddar, sauteed onion, fried egg, gochujang (chili paste), and kimchi. Perhaps my best RZA burger yet.
