    that video is amazing.. i mean.. it's amazing because the cops showed such restraint. boggles the mind why they didn't shoot more people at those entrance points. i know their job is to protect congress and pence and they only used deadly force that one time when they were right around the corner leaving the building or whatever but still.. seems crazy more rounds weren't fired at different times. perhaps they didn't want to possibly escalate things and also it was the capitol.. also probably expected backup a lot sooner. a bunch of those cops took beatings far exceeding what would happen on the streets in any city. crowd control/riot patrol vs other situations i guess. and it was a bunch of mostly white people of course. ugh. what a shit show. i hope trump drops dead soon. someone spike his sudafed.

    this podcast series focused on AI has tidbits about social media scattered throughout. it's focused on AI though so talks medicine, media, algorithms etc. first episode is more about social media than some of the others. i found it pretty good. only 1 season and episodes are on the 30-45 minute range. https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-sleepwalkers-30880104/episode/sleepwalking-30976831/

    autism is a spectrum. i think neurodivergent has a wide range as well and can mean many things. he says stuff like "that's when my autism gets going/shows up" which i took to mean like OCD a bit when wanting things to be a certain way and leaving them unfinished/incomplete rubs someone the wrong way.. i think he was talking about the idea of all the autechre remixes being on one compilation and not being able to include all of them because of licensing would "make his autism get going". if you google neurodivergent there's a lot of information. i know people who are on the spectrum or have Asperger's and are high functioning, funny, engaging and appreciate life, have relationships etc... but are also highly technical and have obsessions to varying degrees... so, someone can be on the spectrum of autism and still have "neurotypical" behaviors. also, sometimes, people are still able to learn new social skills etc.

    nice details on some tracks. the stereolab remix drum sounds were in the asr and that sound comes from the compressor in there.. which is awesome. the drum sounds in that remix are sick. especially that second part where it's all getting really pushed and it sounds like noise layered with drum sounds or something. love it.
