    the trump cruise type thing has happened several times over the last 4 or 5 years. they get all hyped up to wave their flags from their trucks and come drive around portland. most of them are from washington. don’t even live here. usually it’s just posturing and stupidity but they have attacked people in the past. one year some gay kid got beat up on the sidewalk. it’s really thug bully type shit. a way to puff out their chests and them go home and drink a beer and talk about themselves like they're tough people or something. it's like you're at a BBQ w/a bunch of friends who have kids and the kids are slap fighting and not listening and so the BBQ gets ruined for the adults. portland is well known for being a very open tolerant livable city where people can be themselves and that's that.. so it's a target for intolerant racists who want bully people. it's trolling plain and simple.

    it sucks. apparently the shooter is a white guy.. so.. white on white violence. there's pics on twitter of the shooter at other scenes during the protest and it's a white guy. i'm thinking it's time to buy a tactical shotgun just in case. ?

    judging by pics in tweets it looks like it was a 'back the blue' supporter who was shot. shits gonna get worse. i hope they catch the dude who shot this guy.

    Clackamas towncenter is a mall outside portland.. it's the burbs or a sort. they had a big rally for trump supporters then were escorted into portland to drive around the hwy loop that goes around portland but some of them of course drove into downtown.

    there's a movie out now called "The Burnt Orange Heresy" and it's not what i thought it was going to be. i don't get the "i want some power" comments he makes. wtf is he talking about. he looks so disinterested in his job.

    waffle sandwiches of all types are good. vanilla ice cream with some good chocolate syrup mashed between 2 waffles is a nice desert.

    i think i have that "Sofa Surfers" vinyl release somewhere. o need to figure out a way to consumer weed again. maybe i just need to do it like 2 weeks every day until my body/brain gets used to it again or something. waffles with peanut butter and honey is satisfying

    btw they changed the recommended age of colonoscopy to 45. it was 50. so, insurance companies are catching up to it but they're not all paying for it yet.. so, er if you're over 45 go get your scope done.

    fuck. he was diagnosed 4 years ago. wtf. colon cancer diagnosis at 39 is the fucking suck. no one knows when they're gonna go but at 39 getting the expiration date moved up by decades when you're on the verge of becoming a huge star and being on top of the world etc etc.. is just so shitty and weird as fuck to experience. RIP and Fuck Cancer.

    several days ago i got a scratch on my back right in the middle. it took me like 10 minutes to take a pic of it using my phone and a mirror. seems now there's some other kind of abrasion right next to that scratch and i can't get to it to check it out to see if it's a bug bite or what. also have no recollection of getting scratched but that happens often enough though. every time i take a shower i get reminded that it's there as it feels brand new. this adversity will surely be my undoing. also, trying to sell a couple eurorack modules that no one seems interested in.
