  1. @B1000: is that a troll in ur profile pic?
  2. way overkill imho, are u a rich audiophile
  3. yeah, digit will add the nord. I'd like to carry on working on a few aspects of this, like re-recording some MD/MM passages, maybe try and mix it a bit differently (like a mixing exercise). Would be great if someone could master it a little. that's good to hear I can definitely mess in wavelab and ozone with it but there are probably people more talented at mastering than me
  4. very nice do u guys think u might manage to make a full replica at some point?
  5. True. Still, an accurate neutral sound ist still the best because it brings out the individual colouration of the tracks. Also, if you make music you don't want to mix it on a coloured system
  6. But shouldn't it left to the artist what kind of distortion they wanna add to their music? It's not that tube distortion can't be added to the mix before it gets played through your speakers, is it? I want the music to sound exactly as it sounds and as it's intended to be.
  7. the progression sounds very intentional although it isn't. pretty good
  8. What size room are you using that in? ApproximatelyAround 22 square meters. It's overkill to be honest. If I have it at the lowest possible volume I still dial it down half on my computer for most of the listening. Got it 5 years ago (for same price, around 400€). Didn't expect it to be that big and loud when I ordered it. But I'm happy with it. Very precise sounding and a great reproduction of room. Reverbs sound amazing to my ears. Had tested it in 5 different rooms so far since I bought it. The accoustics of the room make a big difference too (obviously). I can recommend it. Sounds like a more expensive set of speakers to me but I don't have that much comparison. For me it's more than enough
  9. Syrincs M3-220 https://www.thomann.de/de/syrincs_m3_220.htm
  10. dunny, the harsh parts sound intentional and are still within reasonable and enjoyable range as for mixing a complex mess of sounds, adaptive EQs might be a good choice. just recently discovered a tool called smartEQ which constantly changes the EQ curve in a way that the sound approaches the spectrum of pink noise and you can adjust the speed at which it does that. kinda hit and miss if it improves the sound but can be useful
  11. I listened to ndy_prate very loudly, much louder than I listen to music most of the time and it filled my room with sound beautifully. i like how clear yet warm and organic everything sounds even at its harshest and most difficult moments. the reverb is very balanced, kinda dry and wet sounding at the same time.it's like some modern interpretation of freejazz listened to the second track at same volume. again a very nice balance of dry and wet sounds and interesting progressions. definitely the sort of ambient that wakes you up from the trance from time to time by interesting sonic surprises
  12. So there will be a constructive vote of no confidence agains May today. I wonder how this will go
  13. His mom didn't give him enough nipple... poor boy
  14. I've only ever seen their shoes but i just looked up the clothes they sell and that shit is even MORE hideous and expensive 600€
  15. It's fun being an uncle. All the fun without the responsibility of having your own. she's already arrived. I woke up this morning to find it's all over. surreal how quick it happened. did u eat the placenta tho
  16. u need to go to someone who cracks ur back (helps)
  17. So it looks like the UK can remain without approval of the other EU members so the European Court of Justice decided. I wonder if and how this will influence the vote tomorrow.
