I always appreciate reflections on the real.
  2. Love how he mentions Morbius and auteur cinema within 30 seconds.
  3. Thanks for sharing - the thread title makes it seem like Peel had a meltdown on air or something lol
  4. Saw that. Autechre CDs in the bin. Son's crying. Thanks Autechre.
  5. I'm eternally grateful that I have always lived in European towns and cities that are extremely walkable (to the point where owning a car is completely useless) with amazing public transport connections. Cities designed around cars are beyond ugly and depressing.
  6. Kenobi is decent, script writing is pretty poor but that's standard for Star Wars but it was worth checking out.
  7. https://hotelradioparis.com/ Been listening for years and I love it.
  8. Am I the only person disgusted by the way society reacts to current events displayed in the modern era? The comments on news videos of graphic videos of Ukranian/Russian troops being killed in the invasion and the way in which the Johnny Depp/ Amber Heard trial was portrayed just remind me of some modern day gladiator fight. It's dystopian.
  9. I disagree with the arrogant (this is WATMM I know) comments on page 1 about how it isn't a wave or anything but of course it was, this kind of music was only made especially between 2009-2012 and influenced the aesthetic and fashion of the 2010s no doubt. This music looks and sounds like 2013 Instagram and GTA V.
  10. TIER 1: PREMIER LEAGUE :: 5th August 2022 - 28th May 2023 TIER 2: CHAMPIONSHIP :: 29th July 2022 - 6th May 2023 TIER 3: LEAGUE ONE :: 30th July 2022 - 7th May 2023 TIER 4: LEAGUE TWO :: 30th July 2022 - 7th May 2023 Note: Due to the 2022 World Cup taking place in Qatar in November/December rather than June/July, both the Premier League and Championship leagues will be on hold for 4 weeks during mid-November to (supposedly) the first round of games starting the 10th December 2022.
  11. If the dancers rubbing up on him are of legal age, then my dad's the pope.
  12. My girlfriend recently got disney plus so I'm going through S1-14 of the simpsons. 21 episodes in so far! It's the only animated show that I find funny let alone entertaining. Anything past S14 is mehhhh though and the extremely recent seasons are awful.
  13. Fair enough, I remember hearing abut that then seeing the music video for love's secret domain and there's no way the boys are of legal age but I could be wrong but it never sat well with me at all.
  14. Holy shit. Anyone got a grand they could give me???
  15. I'm just imagining you spending the 4 minutes between your two posts just saying sexual words over and over trying to make it work with karate kid
  16. Hell yeah shygirl is amazing. My guilty pleasures are 50 Cent, Nelly Furtado and JUL
  17. It's between Amo Bishop Roden and Smokes Quantity at the moment.
  18. HAHAHAHAH WOW I was tired I didn't mean to combine Burnley and Barnsley
  19. I'm really excited for this upcoming season, finally get to play against Watford scummers in the M1 derby now that they've been relegated from the Premier League, and if reaching the playoffs in the 2021/2022 season is anything to go by, the only way is up. I feel Luton is a really well run club and has both a manager and players with drive and passion. Our squad last season had been bought with only £1.5 million, around 1% of Fulham's and we still made the playoffs! Hopefully the new stadium will be complete by the 2024/2025 season - I believe they've started demolition already. It'll be a nice change from Kenilworth Road which although is a classic ground, has a capacity of only 10,000 and is simply really old and has been in continous use since 1905. The new stadium will only be 1 mile away from the soon to be closed Kenilworth Road, and technically closer to Luton's main train station, plus the capacity will be somewhere between 17,500 and 23,000 (with room for expansion). I doubt we'll go up this season but if we can get some new signings in the summer transfer window I'm confident we can build upon last season's performance.
