    just wanted to say you're not alone man. big Iradelphic fan here. the beats weren't as huge as what he'd done before and I guess that didn't please some folks, but it still had the undeniably Clark sound you mentioned. for me, I don't ever think he'll be able to top Body Riddle. that IMO is his masterpiece and what elevated him from just another artist on the warp roster to established boss.

    thanks. I remember banshee. watched a few episodes when it first came out and lost interest. but yeah, I get the Dexter comparison. antihero hiding in plain sight with some completely over the top/impossible plots.

    re-watching season 4 of Dexter - the one with Lithgow in it. He is obviously the best part of this season and I forgot how little of him we see in the first few eps. I haven't watched it since it aired 10+ years ago, but I remember thinking it was...better? the whole show seems so cheesy/campy now.

    They are one of those bands that on paper I should be into since I'm a fan of a lot of post-rock, but the stuff that I've heard has never been able to click with me. I never could get into Skinny Fists, even though on numerous occasions I had people tell me I needed to check it out. I think the last album of theirs I listened to was Allelujah, and I thought it was OK but nothing special.

    ^ Warp was probably so happy to get them to do ANYTHING musically that they didn't care what it was. I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere here, but aren't they still under contract with warp to release another album?

    Like Chen mentioned - you're good to plant the sprouts once all the freezes are done with. Even a light overnight freeze for a few hours will usually kill any newly planted veggies. As for spacing - tomato plants get big quickly, so probably best to give those extra room. My wife planted thai chili plants fairly close together (2-3 inches maybe) and they seem to be fine. There are chili peppers starting to sprout now actually.

    Possibly, but most of the larger trees I selected are evergreens here in Texas. The deciduous shrubs are all in beds with mulch. When they lose their leaves I just rake them into the mulch, or let them break down naturally. Dead leaves are great fertilizer and add that layer of protection for the very brief freezes we get here.

    Yes! After years of renting, we bought a house last year and I went to town on the gardening/landscaping. It became a bit of an obsession really. The house is one of those new construction places that had nothing in the back yard, so it was up to me to add everything. I mean why not add some color and interesting architecture to your daily view? First thing was to plant some trees along the back fence line, which will eventually provide some privacy from the neighbors. Planted some Wax Myrtles, a Loquat, Texas Mountain Laurel, and Vitex. Next I made an herb garden for the wife. There is garlic, tomatoes, eggplant, cilantro, mint, dill, thai chilis, kale, and some other asian plants I don't know the name of. I dug out flower beds around the house and along the sides of the fence. For shrubs I planted Crape myrtles, loropetalum, Texas sage, pink barberry, red yucca, yellow yucca, eleagnus, rosemary, oleanders, lemon grass, blue point juniper, osmanthus, and roses. Also added a few young palms, peach tree, persimmon, and blackberry. The blackberry yielded some fruit last year, but you gotta pick it fast before the birds get it. In the front there are some hawthorns, ligustrums, agave americanas, sage, crape myrtle, and yuccas. Also planted several aloes and succulents around. We were getting rabbits in the back yard and those fuckers would head straight to the ice plants, so I had to brick off a lot of the lower fence that they were digging under. So yeah, I've spent some serious time and money (and like Chen mentioned - a shit load of digging) on gardening but for me it is totally worth it. I enjoy being able to sit out on the back porch, listen to music, have a drink, and watch the plants & trees bloom. And the wife loves cooking and being able to use fresh vegetables from our garden.

    yep, but I was sort of referring to the long wait between seasons 4/5. no doubt corona is going to throw a wrench into making a new season.

    So season 5 turned BCS into BB. Holy hell those were some intense final episodes this season! I knew it was coming, but that cliffhanger had me yelling at the tv. I mean c'mon - almost right in the middle of that action scene and then credits roll... I just hope it isn't another 2 year wait for season 6.

    2024 is going to be an epic power struggle between Pence and Don Junior. Good vs. evil. It's going to be the GOP Christian army vs. what's left of donald's MAGA army. Can't wait.
