  1. Really enjoyed that, thanks. Now I have to watch that movie asap.
  2. Was intended on being released then ;) Possibly the same reason side D is named as side G That's how Richard named the files - it comes from ABB4 being labeled sides "A" and "N", and CAT023 was supposed to be labeled "A-L-O-G", - sort of a series in a way. That certainly clears things up. I was just wondering about that A and N recently... But why only name side D as G now, and the other sides as just A/B/C? And shouldn't AB5 be part of this series as well? (And the first track of CAT023 is on YT!)
  3. Listening to this with Mike P.'s description - I was so afraid he was right about the crap piano riff in Squidge (he wasn't!). The track is perfect to show what Vibert and Aphex have always been saying about trying to make rave-y tracks but were slightly 'misguided' and sounding quite different in the end.
  4. Hearing revpok - I'm fairly positive Aphex played this at a live gig I saw in 2007. Wild flashbacks immediately. I always thought it was some weird mashup: the high melodies were LFO and some of the bells were early Autechre I thought...
  5. I knew I'd seen the Squidge In The Fridge title before! http://forum.watmm.com/topic/83182-squidge-in-my-fridge/ Second track so far, sooooo good to hear to full track after totally rinsing that 1 minute sample. OH SHIT MUTTLEY TRACK STARTS NOW *goosebumps everywhere*
  6. Listening to the first track, this is feeling so unreal... BIG THANKS to Joyrex, Grant and Richard for this, I still can't believe it First track sounds like it would fit on AB5, amazing...
  7. J4 = Rephlex CAT004, J5 = CAT005, J9 = CAT009 I think every Analogue Bubblebath # coincides with the year of release as well (AB1 = 1991 etc), edit: oh, except AB2, still a nice coincidence. Anyway, received my CAT009 picture disc today so now CAT023 has to drop today! Verstuurd vanaf mijn LT22i met Tapatalk
  8. Saw Sadar Bahar a while ago whilst being a bit wasted, so I can relisten to his massive 3 hour set in all peace, sitting in the sunshine, now. https://soundcloud.com/360degreesmusic/sadar-bahar-360-degrees
  9. Yeah, just like with AB5 - on the AB4 promosheet it even says AB4 is a single to promote the forthcoming AB5 album, so it was called off pretty late in the process with both I guess.
  10. Officially the biggest tease-post in watmm history.
  11. I declare this week to be Caustic Window Week - I also found Joyrex J9 (the picture disc) for a real nice price, I hope CAT023 and that record arrive the same day
  12. Yup! "Track 2) A very early track. One of the 1st he did. Childish squeaky acid line. Crap piano riff. Redeemed by lush strings & reverb on certain drum sounds, which might have indicated Here was a future talent. "
  13. Yeah, this is definitely a must watch, loved it! Even more so because I primarily watched it for the Fela Kuti story, but the rest turned out to be even more awesome. Also, "what a drummer! what a cunt!!" should be the catchphrase of the documentary if it should ever be released on DVD.
  14. BoC never had a large 'replay-ability' imo, so I try to keep this album special and listen to it very occassionally. Really listened it too much the first weeks it was out (then it also got a bit ruined because me and some friends were constantly joking about the FFFTUNG snaredrum on Jacquard Causeway) which made me ignore the album for a long while. Few weeks ago I put it on again and I loved it more than TCH and maybe Geogaddi (but I 'played those out' completely).
  15. First of june here, any time now! Also, subtle clues by Joyrex are being dropped
  16. Received it today exactly when my weekend starts (just like the DVD package). Going to have a nice listening seshun tonight together with the other Colundi's :)
  17. It is indeed a track by Passarani: called New Wave. see here: http://www.discogs.com/Passarani-2099-It-Will-Be-What-It-Was/release/181423 Nice! Thanks Ludd & M Stewart! It's also on here btw:
  18. sounds awesome. would def love it if that was on cat023. also, the second half of this mix is pretty awesome as well. Marco Passarani Thanks for correcting, listening his stuff now. This'll keep my early-afx needs satisfied till CAT023 pops up.
  19. So in other news, I really wonder if this track is on CAT023, I have it on my harddisk for years now. Apparently it's a track played by Acid Kirk in 1997 and rumours are it's AFX. It sounds ridiculously like old AFX anyway... http://www.sendspace.com/file/msh2z1 edit: longer version here from around 36:40, it's followed by Quoth (Wooden Thump mix I think) and Isopropanol so I guess it's pretty obvious... https://soundcloud.com/structuraldamagerecords/sdmix36-acid-kirk-live
  20. It started here (I think), I was just taking the piss but after that people proposed kickstarter for real - http://forum.watmm.com/topic/82914-analog-bubblebath-5-caustic-window-lp-and-melodies-from-mars-for-sale-on-discogs/?p=2147896
