  1. i see lots of good decisions being made / reported on this page and it fills me with glee. 50 cents on from-difficulty-discussion: elden ring is among their easiest titles with spirit ashes and the hardest without. and yes, it's very uneven in the latter case.
  2. that abrasiveness argument... LOL
  3. Ah, wish i could experience that one again for the first time. Absolute masterpiece. Only thing left to do for me is Pantheon of Hallownest, phew. Never even made it to Absolute Radiance yet. Meanwhile finishing up in Celeste, died more than 4000 times in Farewell, more than the rest of the game combined. Fun tho. Now still some strawberries and 2 C-Sides left, not gonna bother with golden strawberries outside maybe the first 2-3 levels or so. Just too hardcore of a challenge without any carrots on a stick attached to it. Before that i grinded out Unseen One rank in Hades. Not really worth it, insanely addicting game tho.
  4. i'd be content to get them as they are outside of fucking instagram. ?
  5. i'm wearing their shirts at work constantly. outside of that: no.
  6. i speculate that there will be none for quite a while.
  7. ye well to be clear: don't think cs is more of an accomplished album than cf, it just holds more sentimental value. guts.

  10. calling dysthymia "high-functioning depression" is weird imo. apathy and anhedonia are my jams, circumstances don't seem to matter, at least not consciously. meds seemed to work pretty well for a while, not so much these days. are antidepressants really just a scam? seems like they're prescripted left and right, yet no hard evidence exists shit's working much better then 'cebos. afraid of therapy, for some reason.
  11. got a B on recent CS math test because i identified 0 as a root with a multiplicity 1 instead of 2 ((x-0)² anyone? duh) in the characteristic polynomial of the homogenous solution of a 2nd order partial differential equation and now i feel like a complete failure ?. i know it's first world prob material par excellence but i'm seriously bummed out i missed a perfect grade because of such a stupid and unnecessary mistake. at least i still know how to calculate the average score i'd need in the next 24 tests to overall get under 1.3, which i'd need for an honorary degree: 1.22174. whatever, not gonna make it anyway, too many subjects i'm not super fond of, like software engineering and business studies. blah. i enjoy uni math, especially the discrete variety, abstract algebra, number theory... and stochastics. my last grade in high school was a straight F, then i dropped out. it's fascinating how much just depends on intrinsic motivation and practice, math is kinda like sports, non? i used to think my brain just wasn't made for it or whatever.
