Pure Data is much better than Max! Why? It has much bigger compability with operating systems! You can even use it on Raspberry Pi! You can also create your own hardware controllers, synthesizers etc.. PD works with hardware synths like Norns, Organelle, Many eurorack modules like Rebel Technolygy, Befaco etc.. Pure Data is way easier to use with better workflow and you can get fater sounds! And the best: It is open source wich means it is totally FREE! Do Pure Data guys! Even this guy enjoys it! Oversteps - Move Of Ten is Ae's weakest time for me. It feels they ditched 50% of the gear (Machinedrum, Monomachine) Just to focus on Nord Modular experiments and MPC samples. It got some very good tracks.. I always get chills when I hear the mighty intro of O=0 If you listen to Oversteps and compare it with Untilted is like day and night really.

Today Im on the Untilted + Live at Glasgow and Quaristice + EP + Versions Including IOS & Digits amazing recordning of the legendary AE 08 Live set. In this 05-08 era as you know it all seems to be produced with Elektron Machinedrum, Monomachine, MPC and Nord Modular stuff! The sounds and tunes are really playful here! Probably the most playfull time ever in their career! You can here different melodies just come and go as Quaristice got short tracks "snippets". I still wish they had recorded more stuff from that time! It is like like a kid just spreading all the lego around in a room.
