  1. The thread has been relatively innocuous so far, let's keep it that way ok?
  2. I thought the finale was was one of the better episodes in a long time. But am I the only one who finds Carol completely annoying and an utter waste of flesh?
  3. ground loop causing hum. it's driving me insane.
  4. Pakistan also has nukes, not technically in the middle east, but close enough to make no difference to your point. Might as well count India by that logic then
  5. Fair. Completely agree on dialogue being the best option. You should talk to Bibi about Iran not being an existential threat, btw. Could help greatly. Although I kinda understand Bibster with all the anti-zionist rhetoric from Iran in the past. (And I'm sure he can't play cool because of all the hawkish-rightish voters in Israel. It seems like a big constituency, so he needs to kater them as well.) Foreign Policy mag summed it up best: Bibi is still a jerk. Rhetoric is rhetoric - those clerics need an existential threat just as much as the Likud need one. Gotta keep the local population happy. Better still, make the ME nuke free. That's not going to happen. Yeah, Israel will never give up their nukes.
  6. The sigh of my two month old falling asleep is the sweetest sound in the world.
  7. Dialogue is preferable to bombast. Iran is no existential threat to either the US or Israel. Engagement is a much better strategy than invasion, so let's hope it's a new leaf for American foreign policy, but the idea of American exceptionalism seems to be on the rise again, so who knows. Also I'm fairly hammered right now, so please don't take anything I say as bein accurate.
  8. I don't know where that guy is from in BC but in vancouver people are pretty open about smoking it on the street. Also, if you think that weed being legal in a couple of states is the only way America is better than a lot of the rest of the world, might I suggest actually traveling to a developing nation? Or even a semi-developed nation? There's plenty that's wrong with American society and governance, but it pales in comparison to how fucked up a lot of places in the world actually are.
  9. Or Saul going to chucks place is indicative of his inner nature; to use anyone, no matter how sick he is, in order for Jimmy to get ahead.
  10. About to watch the pilot for "Man in the High Castle". Actually might read the book again first. Scratch that then.
  11. Big fan of this season of archer. Archer: Vice was ok , but this one is back to being as good as the first couple of seasons.
  12. Just picked up "hibernate" from slumbr. excellent excellent music to construct an environment to focus on a task for a few hours at a time (reading, meditation, writing etc..) Highly recommend it. https://slumbr.bandcamp.com/album/hibernate
  13. This reminds me, I really need to catch up on my fsol.
  14. I managed to snag a corporate plan..60 bucks a month for unlimited calling/texting plus 6GB data a month. They should also give you an activation credit of 400$ So probably worth it for you to check it out.
  15. you know you can call land lines from cell phones right? lol j/k j/k Seriously, get on a corporate plan for your cell phone, ditch telus and move to shaw for your internet, and don't look back.
  16. Why would you have anything but Internet and a cell phone?
  17. You can fuck a girl with herpes and not get anything. Mickey D's will always fuck you over though.
  18. Cable? In 2015? 4 realz? Come on Stephen "ain't nuttin but a" G "Thang"... Ditch that like a hooker with herpes. Unless you're a huge sports nut. But even then, you can get all your shit online. I have a tv. But I don't have cable. And wait...are you saying you have a landline as well?
  19. She's just a scared little girl who never grew up as evidenced by her need to be an utter control freak. Her breakdown at the end was perfect. Great acting.
  20. Seriously though this is some goddamned good television. Love how they're weaving Saul and Mike into a relationship of mutual self-interest. The colour-scheme is very cool.
  21. None of those are aphex twin, good grief.
