  1. God damn that is a nice clean version of it! Will have to cut that out and put in my "misc squarepusher" folder...
  2. Very much yes I would support a Kickstarter project for this.
  3. https://datassette.bandcamp.com/album/void-fill-product Haven't had a chance to listen yet but a full length album from datassette sounds like great news, I love his previous work.

I thought this was a new thread until I came across my own comment from fourteen years ago. Thanks for making me feel old.
  5. Are you me? This is exactly what I'll be doing on the 14th as well...
  6. This is very confusing, because he has already done a release in 2016 named "Human Touch": https://www.discogs.com/Rolando-Simmons-Human-Touch/release/10465289 And all of these tracks are from previous releases, like the Bridgeland EPs and some Trackermatte stuff. All very good stuff, of course, and it makes me think that I should go back and listen to some of the stuff I don't usually play more closely ?
  7. Oh yeah... Or Rammstein. All that young teenager angst and edgyness, with anime as a conduit. Very cringey now that you are old. I don't know if I really want to remember it... Luckily I never made any video that is very embarrassing, the worst one at least uses a Bogdan Raczynski track ?
  8. I'll just quote myself from the YouTube video: Just wanted to share!
  9. I haven't followed this thread but I wanted to share this amazing live performance by Entombed in 1996: https://youtu.be/UEAuLiEUFWM The start of Like This With The Devil is especially great: https://youtu.be/UEAuLiEUFWM?t=719 Edit: Also please let me know how to properly embed Youtube links...
  10. Am I really that bad at judging crowd sizes? That number is like if everyone from my home town was at that show. I'm just going to shut up, I'm probably only embarrassing myself ? But yes, if there where 8,000 people there then if you redo my "calculations" then they would instead be making a ~$62 profit from each visitor (before you subtract for staff, venue, other artists etc).
  11. I don't know how that would be possible. I'm no good at judging sizes of crowds, but there couldn't have been more than a thousand people there (I would guess there was less than five hundred people there, but let's say so for this here calculation): $300 000 / 1 000 people = $300 per person I paid 70€ for the ticket and spent an additional 22€ on beer, let's say the average person spent 100€ (There was no merch on sale that I saw). Let's say $1 is roughly 1€. Each punter spends $100, but they pay $300 for Richard, so that's a loss of $200 per visitor, and that's before paying for venue, staff, the other artists, advertising... I don't know why I did this instead of getting five minutes extra sleep tonight but there you have it. ?
  12. Yeah, it was the perfect warmup to Richard. It might not be as good a live set for listening to on your headphones at home, but when you where on the dancefloor I had just as much fun during his set as Richard's. Extra impressive seeing that he didn't seem to get to use the venue's full lights-and-screens setup as Richard did. The exact same things can be said about Luke Vibert that night! Is there a recording of it?
  13. Exactly why I came to this thread. Need that Aphex live goodness here at the office! Thank you!
  14. Haha, that's some encyclopedic knowledge :) Great set overall!
  15. It's about time he played some Bogdan Raczynski! I've often thought that it would fit in well in his sets and Death To The Natives really did!
  16. I prefer this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5iDKWV6Chg

    Brexit :(

Are you saying that you are not finding these people to be agreeable?
  18. Windowlicker and its video is just the best. I don't know if I've ever skipped it when it has come on when I play music on shuffle, and I don't think I ever will in the next twenty years either. It's timeless.
  19. I think they are new tracks, don't know where this Stone in Focus connection has come from, it sounds extremely modern. The second track does have the same timbre as MDMA but the melody is different so it's probably just a new track made in that time period. Same here, I can see that people think that it kind of sounds like Stone In Focus, but not much more than the other tracks on SAW 2... Also I would guess that the (awesome) part that starts at 04:35 is a separate track.
