    Pretty sure Kant wrote that thing with the express intent of making other people feel stupid. To that end it has been one of philosophy's greatest success stories.

    I don't remember the last time I bought candy. There was a period where I routinely bought liquorice and pineapple juice circa 2012-15. For some reason that combo really appealed to me. Also, I would bite both ends of the liquorice to make a straw, than drink the juice with that. Dark times.

    Been comparing artist popularity on Spotify today for shits 'n' giggles. Was surprised to discover Guns n' Roses are more popular than the Beatles, Metallica is almost as popular as either, and U2 is half as popular as Metallica. Also Tame Impala is way more popular than I thought, more so than Fleet Foxes by quite some stretch, who I thought would be at the top of the indie heap. Aphex Twin's more popular than the rest of the featured artists on here combined, but Skrillex destroys him more than tenfold. Even if you tossed all Phil Collin's followers onto Richard's stats, he still wouldn't make it halfway to Skrillex.

    Color of Space is hilariously intense in the second half. I swear Nicolas Cage only gets cast in movies where the director wants to make him freak out. Definitely good bang for the buck in terms of over-the-top horror.

    I have a friend who travels to the States once every several months to get a medication she can't buy here. She was able to get over the border to do it last month. So I was under the impression the border is still open (though I think it should be closed. 'Nuff cross-contamination already).

    I'm so glad they went with Terry Date as producer again. Around the Fur and White Pony have always been two of my favourite sounding heavy albums. The guitars just sound right. Yep, this kicks ass. Really digging the ghostly keyboard atmospheres too. And... finger snaps? About fucking time someone threw that on a metal album.
