this guy is a contender, lets have it.

 

ice water with ice? are you fucking serious? that's got to be the least IDfrigginM thing anyone could have ever thought of. first of all, IDMers do not repeat themselves. "Could i have some ice water...with ice?" no i'm not giving you ice water with ice you electronica piece of shit. second of all, ice water is the least IDM drink. less IDM than diet coke. IDM drinks: V8 Fusion, Vitamin Water, and possibly orange soda. i'll admit, water by itself is in the top ten of IDM things, but not as a drink. There's no taste to water, it's like the color grey, and IDM is the color green.

Even though I suggested "Industrial Piping" it always comes up more autechre/drone than IDM in my subconscious...

I think house music claimed it some years back.

What's up with that? That piping is so impractical. Unless the contents are meant to travel longer distances (possibly to cool them down, or something), it's just counter-productive to transporting materials.

i am a chemical engineer and i have seen some crazy-ass piping at places like refineries. makes me shudder to think who designed the maze of piping. it is definitely not to cool them off though, they have specific heat exchangers for that.

as far as i can tell, there's no point to that. what probably happened is that some other pipes were there and some equipment got moved around so they took those pipes out creating unneeded zigs.
