Xander Crews / Awesome X is absolutely the best character from anything ever. I just watched all 27 episodes and now my life feels empty but im expecting to have all 3 series' of the Brak show by this time tomorrow. good times. Apart from T&E of course I think Xavier suffers because of the fact that it's so packed full of comedy. Three jokes have gone by before people are able to understand one. Add to that the fact that one joke usually builds onto the last one and so on and so on... I also think the weird voices can hurt it too. I usually watch it with closed captioning on so I don't miss anything. I was talking about the series with a friend once after he'd seen a few episodes and he told me he thought it was funny in places but was "just random crazy shit". I wanted to punch him in the face. I had to tell him that just about every episode satirized something in popular culture and did it better in 12-13 minutes than I'd seen it done in 2+ hour movies. That "Patience" episode is a good example of how the writers of that show loved to fuck with the audience. I especially loved the stuff with Chauncey.
