Look at this garbage

i actually looked at that and felt sorry for the doughballs, then lolled at myself.

the guinness doesn't look so hot either, it's bad news when there's no head and there's only a few sips taken out of it.

It's a shame cos their pizza is excellent.

they serve the doughballs with garlic butter in my go-to place, and it's not even that garlic-y.

so you're having bread and butter as a starter. what is this, fucking cambodia?

your go-to place

a place you go to?

my regular pizza place

and oh look, a big banner for fucking heart-shaped doughballs right at the top of the page.

the goats cheese, spinach, red & caramelised onions with garlic oil is some good fucking shit.

only the new 'leggera' stuff is rhomboid. every pizza i've ever got from there has been circular - the way pizzas are meant to fucking be.

edit: their calabrese is my other fav, but that's pretty much my favourite pizza in any place that serves it. and if it doesn't have calabrese, it's not a proper pizza joint.

that's all looking a lot like pizza express, is pizza express called milano in ireland?

edit: never mind, used google. yes it is pizza express.

edit 2: jeez apparently you can buy their dough balls in supermarkets

I find this doughball thing bizarrely fascinating (and w.r.t. the pic sweepstakes posted, a little repulsive).

I have been to so many pizza places of hugely variable degrees of authenticity and quality and yet I've never seen a doughball.

I'm ordering from this place tonight, as the gf and I agreed to do a no-cooking/no-dishwashing night and do a real valentine's day thing on the weekend:

it's pretty good. The merguez sausage, spinach and feta is amazon.

milano is part of the pizzaexpress chain

i'm not liking the sound of that thinner base. last time i ate at pizza express the base was as thin as physically possible but i suppose the chef fucked up or was trying to make the dough go further or something. just a bit too thin

edit: they called the dough hearts 'dough ball hearts'

Children exist who don't like meat or veggies.

So naturally... your evil cheese pizza is prime choice.

Blame the children!

I'm sure their are legit reasons for Adults wanting cheese pizza as well. I actually don't mind it myself as it allows my taste buds to hone in on the glory that is excellent cheese, tomato sauce and oregano mmmm.

i didn't know that.

i think it's like a lot of the franchises that market themselves as a bit better than your shitty ol dominos/papa johns/whatever. your experience will vary wildly depending on how much of a shit the people running the particular outlet give. gotta say the pizza from my local milano is pretty good.

i'd like to try that field mushrooms one. the white one too, pickles on a white pizza? interesting

oh shit, they have a seafood pizza. best pizza i ever had was a seafood pizza at a mom'n'pop place located on the docks in assens, denmark.

anyway you should ask for some heart-shaped doughballs.

That's a superb idea. We need to get some startup capitol though.

If you want to start up in LA, I've got about a year supply of double chocolate stout in my fridge. That should minimize the overhead at the outset.

Actually, never mind. I'ma drink it all.

there's something about pizza... unlike any other food... just the mere mention of it makes me want to order one.

would you order a cheese pizza though? or one with stuff on it?
