Haters should take into consideration the opinions of others in the community as well as pay attention to the actual standing of an artist in respect to his peers gonna hate. No offense, Joyrex. Ha, there was no Cylob subforum when I discussed this, and I think I was Pissy about now vsnares forum because the Vibert one was next. I remember saying "What's Next, Cylob". My go-to 2nd-hand recordstore, Accord, has an employee who digs the IDM acts and what not, so I chat with him whenever I'm there and I get some discounts once in a while if I buy proper music, haha. I found a whole line of 6 records, mixed Autechre and Squarepusher, put up for display, I just grabbed it all and he was delighted and asked me if I knew of Venetian, since there was a record on the same shelf, but it was sold a few hours earlier. It's really some of the most amazing stuff I've listened to for a long time. I can't stop listening to "Hajnal". Classical music, jazz and then the breakbeats shakes everything up. So well-done. Instead of doing the rookie mistake and start asking for recommendations 7 pages into a thread, I'll just go read it from start to end. And oh, at the recordstore the employee described VS as: Employee 1: It's a bit like Autechre at times, just more aggressive. Me: Because Autechre ain't aggressive enough? Employee 2: Haha, touché.
