Chrome acting shit lately.

Nope but you can roll your version back and turn off automatic updates if you keep having problems.

 

edit: install the old version you like then type "chrome://plugins/" without the quotes into your address bar and click the disable option for Google Update

nope the problem is flash plugin

 

then why haven't I experienced this problem in firefox?

because somewhere along the line, someone fucked up, and there are 2 copies of the flash plugin installed on many chrome installations.

I don't have 2 copies of the plugin but I do have the problem, definitely something wrong chrome is doing, after all, they decided to have flash integrated to it, which sux. hopefully will be fixed soon

I first ignored this thread but now I have to come here and agree, it is acting like shit, exactly for that reason. Everytime I close some tab with flash content it freezes and sometimes I even have to close it through the taskmanager.

chrome has a pretty shitty relationship with flash. i've had this problem too. also, for the past year or so, flash elements on sites show up as a black box for me. if it's video, I can hear the audio but only see a black box where the video is playing. youtube is the only flash video that works. i've tried like hell but can't find a solution. makes me fucking crazy.

have used Chrome as my only browser since it came out in 2008, I have never come across this problem.
