Same here, except I bought a shitty cassette and I didn't get second one with the shitty cassette, and I think it was Sam Goody, and I probably only skipped because my parents were getting divorced and my dad wanted to be nice. Also my dad drove me and he simultaneously rocked out/got uncomfortable at Axl calling his mom a cunt whilst the tape was playing in the car ride home. I learned a lot that day.
